Sounds like the rail may be the drink of choice around 6:30 to get me ready for the game. How tough is it to sneak alcohol into lane? Thinking about grabbing some mini bottles of whiskey or bringing a flask along
Also.....
VT's offensive line still won't be able to handle a stunt ... again

I think Herbie's hair is more blonde than strawberry blonde......
Sharkey's is on the corner of Main and College Ave. It's usually pretty packed, but you're bound to run into some Hokies willing to buy you a round of drinks anywhere I'm sure. TOTS is good if they aren't charging cover. Be wary of the drink called the "Rail"... it's 6 shots of rail liquor and a splash of sprite on top. It'll basically do you in for the day/night

The one constant theme I love from all these quotes, and the various articles I have read since the summer: everyone is buying into the "scheme". The players, coaches and staff are confident that our strategy to defend OSU is sound. It isn't the typical pre-game banter generalities such as, "we're better than you!" or "oh yeah? well we have worked hard all off season, and I am the best athlete in college football."
The air of confidence in this locker room seems almost palatable. They clearly respect OSU, but they have bought into the strategy, the mindset that not only did we beat them once already, but that if the players just perform the way "they've been taught", that the "counter-punches" by Bud and Company should do the trick. It is amazing to see and read, I really look forward to this chess match.

Awesome. Should be in Blacksburg by 8 am Monday with a college friend and some family. Lookin forward to talkin college Fball with some Hokies and throwin back a few too many cold ones (and hopefully a win for us)!
Early playing time, how does 2017 RB depth look.
I like how you think. Welcome and have a leg!
I'm admittedly a snob when it comes to watching VT football on TV. I need a large screen and full audio to watch with a group or I'd rather just watch by myself at home.
Does First Down meet those requirements? If so, I'll see ya there.
I'll be there. Tailgating in Lot 5, but getting there pretty early... when does everyone else think the lots will begin to fill up?
wow, I didn't have the courage to say it. Praise be!
Personal favorites downtown: The Cellar (good wine and beer selection, good food, quieter atmosphere), Rivermill (great beer selection), and TOTS (your classic bar). Hit up the TKP tailgate and meet some fine Hokies.
Are you the one with Hokie Hill on their tent? We usually tailgate right at the top of that hill as well. Love that spot.
