nice, was that explosions in the sky for the first bit?

^This, too ^

UGA seems to always have the next shiny new RB playing as a true freshman, albeit in limited snaps. Our depth chart two years from now will likely still have a Marshawn, a Shai, a Deshawn, and a Travon, so getting snaps in 2017 might be tough. That doesn't even count Reid and Fox, who I'm not too familiar with.

But we have no running backs committed in the 2016 class (per Rivals), so maybe by 2017 we see some early NFL departure, attrition, injury, position changes, and the like. Not out of the realm of possibility, for sure.

That 3rd down play at 1:23 was a thing of beauty. Nice video!

IDK..I think we'll see plenty of the bear alignment again, just with some wrinkles. I don't think it's beyond Bud to bend the rules and change some of the assignments. Give the Buckeyes the same look that they have on film and have prepared for but hit them with a surprise left when they're expecting a jab from the right.

From what was being said on XM radio yesterday, ESPN is going all in with the broadcast of our entrance on Monday. Like way above and beyond what they did for any of our games in the past. Like broadcasting the buses driving around Death Valley talking about how awesome the event is for 10 minutes before the team takes the field kinds of overboard.

They're basically going to air a very long infomercial about our football game atmosphere. It's nice to matter again.

Some members of the fanbase have already tricked themselves into thinking they have Bud figured out, if the coaches have too then we're going to be pretty happy on Monday night.

"Could you elaborate on how they 'take care of their players'?"
"Yeah, like, they said they have this guy that they call if I ever get in any legal trouble and *poof*—it's gone."

I just had to get Frank the Tank and his street cred in there.

Its not even 8 am and I wish I could have a stiff drink at work...

It was from an old Versus commercial that was run back in the late 00's. It always got me so pumped.

Nothing quite screams street-cred badass quite like a well-mannered, older, southern gentleman holding a lunch box, does it?

That was a pretty nice comp of plays there on the back half...but am I the only one who busted out laughing at that last screen shot of beamer and the lunch pail? Genius.

He has the chance for early playing time but our rb situation is loaded so he'd have to earn it. Seeing who we're up against, that doesn't seem to be an issue with him.

The most important thing we can do to look more appealing is win games. At those other schools, playoff berths are a distinct possibility and possibly likely during his time there (except UNC). We have to prove over the next year or so that we are still capable of that as well.

Informative piece. Everybody on both sides is keeping things close. I'm tempted to go out on a limb and say contrary to what many OSU fans are saying that the game also will be close until the final quarter when they pull away, and say that guys like Sobczak (and Osterloh on offense) will be why if OSU hasn't put the game away before the fourth quarter, we will win. That new found confidence will pay dividends. Wear them out in the trenches. Unexpected, but I can see it happening.

UNC+2.5 or just to win
TCU-14.5 to win by a wide margin
Louisville+10.5 to lose but not by a lot
aTm-2.5
Bama-10.5
VT+13.5 but OSU wins

Great stuff!

What interests me is what defensive alignment will we see Bud bring out against OSU this year? Bear with some twists? Or something different altogether?

That leads to the preparation comment that Urban Meyer made. Assuming Bud brings something different than the Bear, which I've got to believe will be the case, how can Urban prepare his team for something they haven't seen?
