Although, with the OSU losing all their starting WR's (I know I know, they have 845 4* receivers to replace them), I think OSU will focus more on the run and/or spread option, in which Bud would likely bring that Bear defensive scheme into this game.
CJ Carrol also isn't even in the 3-deep?
Shane didn't do that last year, injuries did that.
If he tears that ACL again, it won't be because he is on it too soon. It would be something that would have happened either way. If the doctors clear him and he is performing at the level to warrant playing time, the knee is fully healed and is strong enough for him to be making those explosive cuts and runs. I don't think he will be an announced redshirt. It may be the intent for him to redshirt by the coaches unless a RB or 2 gets dinged up and then they will play him.
Yeah MV5 came down to loluva (sort of) but mainly Tennessee and VT. He was just about to sign with UT when we ended up with him somehow...
And yes, the Cuse were tough in the 90's. The air-ball pass in the end zone in '95? still irks me. Similar to the BC Matty Ice pass....
I am sorry, but I think the decision just has to be redshirt him. We have Brewer, Motley, and Durkin. Motley and Durkin have both red-shirted and will see playing time this year. There is no need to carry four active QB's.
Not have a RS Senior TT cost us probably our best shot at a MNC since 1999-2000 Season
What year would have gotten us there then? I think LT did as great of a job as he did in 2011 and TT couldn't have done it much better IMO.

I like JCC, but I really really hope Shane/Frank avoid doing what they did last season (playing everyone just to play them) and sticking with 1 RB for a majority of the carries. I think JCC deserves to be the starter for week 1, but if other RBs perform better, pick em and stick with em.
I could be convinced either way. He's saving his OVs for Auburn, FSU, UM because its probably expensive and difficult to get across the country like that. But since Tech is in his backyard he can easily do an unofficial whenever he wants with little effort, so there's no need to burn an OV. He'll still definitely visit Tech more than any other school, but not getting an OV isn't great
My kneejerk reaction is that they really suck at proofreading their depth charts. But I'm gonna give them a little more credit and just call shenanigans.
Well Shai is suspended for the game so he can't be on the depth chart. Since he's further ahead than Marshawn I don't think you can read into this. My guess is that Marshawn RS and Shai plays.

Obviously rankings vary by source and specific major. These are overall engineering grad schools because its what google brought up first. Michigan has a great engineering program, but there are a few key drawbacks. First, you have to live in Michigan. Second, my experience with Michigan grads has been eerily similar to my experience with LOLUVa grads (I'm sure our resident buckeyes can confirm). So yeah, Landon, don't be one of those guys.

close...it was MV7...heck it might have been both of them but I know for sure that his recruitment came down to VT and the Cuse. and yes, in the 90s the Cuse was most certainly a very good football program (it took the aforementioned MV7 before we were finally able to win in the Carrier Dome in the old Big East days). As was NC State and the UVa game in those days was not the layup it is now, I wouldn't say they were good, but they were decent I used to think of that game as a toss-up. I believe we were about .500 against them in the 90s.
Loved the black for the game against BSU, the helmets were badass.

September nights in B'burg can still be chilly. Add in a little mist or light rain, and you have the potential for being less than comfortable if improperly clad. When I was guiding on the New River, I always told my clients to check the forecast first. If they are calling for 60, come prepared to dress for 40 and hope for 50. You can take it off, but you can't go back to the car and get it if you need it. I have seen a lot of people buying sweatshirts and ponchos during halftime because of underestimating the chill factor a mist and some breeze can bring with it. Yeah, bourbon and a victory can definitely keep you warm, but I prefer to hedge my bets. Plus, the more you have on, the easier it is to mule in those airplane bottles!
