Well it's for sure an orange chrome helmet, just like #SAUCES were saying earlier this offseason. Not sure what jersey we will be wearing with it?

I'm gonna throw out a wild guess here. I think that the helmet will be an orange chrome in front with a fade to maroon in the rear.
Well, we are now statistically less likely to win.
Not gonna lie, I thought the all orange uni's we wore against Duke looked awesome. I could get on board with all orange everything.
Not sure I'm a fan. The stone looks like it's a cheap image or something. The picture I have in my head of Hokies stone looks different.
Well I know statistically we don't really play better or worse for whatever helmet or jersey we wear, but seeing this i still remember our last orange bowl game with Stanford...
That's been my gut all along, but there has been some indication lately that JT and Cardale prefer there to be a starter and a back up, and that there not be a 2 QB system - and Urban has said that's what he prefers. Urban, despite what many think, is a pretty straight shooter. He tends to tell you what he thinks and avoids coach-speak and subterfuge.
However, Cardale has too much talent to sit and wait for an injury or mop-up duty - and he needs to play in order to maintain a high draft position. Urban owes him for last year, so I gotta believe he is going to play. What that will exactly look like in terms of when, what circumstances, how frequent, etc. - I have no idea. But it will be interesting to find out on Labor Day.
JT being a captain is a no-brainer. Any casual fan can see his leadership qualities. He will read defenses better and have more of the playbook open, but I have felt since the end of last year that he would be the main guy because of his leadership abilities.
First of the three new images is up for Saturday. Definitely an orange helmet. Looks like it has VT on the sides in orange with white-then-maroon stripes on the outline.

I saw a maroon helmet with hokiestone vt and hokiestone line down the middle somewhere
That helmet will work with Orange Effect. I guess we'll know soon enough.

I say we institute UNC's preferred method of punishment. For each infraction, the player's tutor needs to write an extra paper.
How exactly is it terrible that our athletes have to learn (if for some reason they didn't know already) that there are real-world consequences for breaking rules that they agreed to?
If at anything, I hope every school does this. Learning that your actions have consequences is a valuable lesson.
As a staunch support of #ALLMAROONEVERYTHING I can actually get behind Orange lids, Orange jerseys with Maroon pants.
OT, but I bought a new VT flag to fly in front of my house (old one got torn up by the wind) and went with an Orange back with Maroon VT. It's clearly a sign that this is a winning combo.
