OOOOOOHhhh. Ouch.
Saw on Twitter EMT was called at 6:37 to OSU and it's a broken fibula and fibula.
If I remember right we recruited him pretty hard correct? I think him and his TE teammate that went to FSU.
that is no bueno! i'm tired of hearing all this injury news..its bad enough to get hurt...but right at the end of the off-season..I mean..c'mon! that really sucks. and it's happening with some frequency...which double sucks
Per cleveland.com, possibly a "major" injury - knee or broken leg as there was a "pop" when he went down.

We need some of our OSU buddies on here to give some more insight.
Hate to see anyone go down with an injury.
#Teampie because
Bacon Pie
Try that with cake. HA!
So now they're only going to beat us by 4 touchdowns?
All joking aside, I hope the kid is OK and has a fast recovery, if the potential injury is in fact true.
Architect here....working for the same small family firm (~6 people) since my first summer after my freshman year at tech (87).....
Technical support for a large electricity company in Va
Ooooh, what have we here? What's the hubbub?
I drive down from the north.
I'm #teamcake, and I endorse this message.
Edit: And yes, I lied. I have been taking peeks into this thread from time to time. Totally out of boredom. I couldn't care less about all of your game plans.
Bastards.
Oh, psh. By the time I graduated, I was 4 years older than my fellow grads #oldmanprobs lol
And that is why he's Zeke, and a good reason they're reigning champs.
Really helps shed some light on the depth of analysis we get on TKP.
I can give you business math. "Math" math is for the birds as far as I am concerned!
Count me in as a cricket. The wife and I just couldn't make it work. It probably works out since I can wear my Vick era 7 jersey which is what I wore last year when we won, which clearly means we will win. YOU ARE WELCOME FOR MY SACRIFICE HOKIE NATION.
I just think that in order for vt to be that good rushing, we need a dominant back. We can't rely on the o line to open up gaping holes for whoever the back in at that drive.
Makes sense. Hopefully the over rotating lesson has been learned. As much as I love JC, I feel like Trey is going to pass him up at some point this year.
Received by shipment of blades from Dollar Shave Club today. Opened up The Bathroom Minutes, the little newsletter of miscellanea they include in each shipment.

Boom. 12-0. Book it.
pshh..take your silly 'science' stuff out of here...that shi* doesn't belong on the interwebs
Like French said, that speed option is probably the single best counter to the bear front as we showed it, as it requires the safety to come from the middle of the field to make the play on the pitch man. That being said, Detrick Bonner was technically in position to make the play on Elliot's TD but he got juked out. If he could've forced Elliot back inside Dadi would've made the tackle on the backside cut.
that's like saying we can't count on Bud Foster to field a great defense this year
Over the last 2 years ECU has had a good enough defense to limit us to an avg of 18 points per game. I think we would be hard pressed to more than double our output. Of course, this is all speculation. I would love for us to drop 45 points on ECU. I would love for our offense to drop 45 points on a lot of teams. Based on what we have seen from our offense the last two years, I just don't see how anyone can legitimately expect that kind of production. I'm cautiously optimistic that Scot Loeffler will get this offense moving in the right direction and I'm hoping to see some progress this season. Patiently waiting and hoping for it to happen does not equate to expecting it to happen. I just don't see us scoring more than 40 points on very many teams this year. And given how ECU has stopped us in recent years with D Coordinator Rick Smith I don't expect our offense to drop 45 on them.
I think citing Scot Loeffler led offenses against Rick Smith defenses over the last two seasons is perfectly relevant while making the argument that it's unlikely we'll score 45 points on them this year.
The next 11 days can't go by fast enough...

Can or would Whit get us out of this annual date with ECU? Does he care? It is boring to me win lose or draw. Do we gain some financial advantage? Weaver was a tight wad that I imagine money had something to do with it. I hope as we all do that this young man recovers well and continues to play the game he loves! I wonder how many knee injuries end a season for college football players?
