In a world where news makes it around the world in seconds this can't be undone in any amount of time. It has defiantly created a narrative VT didnt need in its recruiting.

Hard to believe it won't bite us in recruiting. If I was recruiting against VT, I would tell every recruit ever that VT wants to take his (the recruit's) money away. The narrative as it stands is an unfortunate and mostly inaccurate perception that Virginia Tech will have to combat on its end.

This probably fed into the quick squashing, as well as how badly it was getting trashed:

The tweeter here is the Associate AD for Compliance at Illinois

It sure got a lot of publicity for something that we didn't consider seriously. Hopefully its all forgotten and does not bite us in recruiting.

FWIW, the argument coming from some circles is that coaching staffs cannot decide to reduce financial aid. Since the stipend is part of the scholarship, they can't take it away.

It has been damage control tonight by VT Athletics. Whit has already said he knew nothing of it and it will be stopped.

7 of us coming from dublin/radford area. Parking @ airport lot around 11am (great tailgating). 12 more days. Can...not..wait. Lane will be crazy as ever.

Shai not running warm up sprints make a bit of sense to me. He is suspended for the OSU game and coming off the knee surgery. Since he won't be playing, no need to keep pounding it now that camp is over. I would guess he'll go through treatment some days and light work others while suspended. It should keep him fresher if he plays this year.

Does sitting in a T-6B Texan II zooming around at 240 kts and doing spins and shit count? Cause thats what happened today. Shouldn't you be out evicting tax cheats right now?

So that means 4 of their 5 top options will be out or week 1. Could even see Braxton out there just to have another athlete with Michael Thomas. Suddenly the Bear could be seen quite a bit more then otherwise.

Wish him a speedy recovery, though he undoubtedly will get first class rehab at tOSU.

Time flies when you're having fun, but time shoots by at 10k mph when you're studying for usmle /comlex.
Get first aid right now and read one chapter a week. I'd suggest reading that thing 5 times before starting Uworld and before your intense studying begins. If I could do it again, I'd start my intense studying late January or early February. I ran out of time and started mid March and took boards early June. I did DIT but would not recommend it since it's very broad and usmle is highly detailed. Reddit.com/r/medicalschool is good for advice too but seriously, start reading first aid right now. Feel free to email me if you have any questions
