The Indiana thing reminds me of Maryland. True, they increase 14% last year to 46,981, but that's 87% of capacity of 54,000. So in prior years, it was in the 3/4 capacity range. With an enrollment over 37,000 in a large metropolitan area with a large alumni base. Basketball rules at Murland, like Indiana.

I wouldn't exactly say that's a great counter to the 'dearth of talent' argument.
Lawson's legs are soo long. I literally had to walk around his feet at fan day because his legs were sticking out the other side of the table.
Hard ass and I can tell BTN was very selective in what clips they showed of him. A lot of his rants have a lot more profanity. A big difference from Tressell who would get after any player or coach who dared to drop an f bomb at practice.

The remaining players from those two draft classes won't be drafted until '15 or '16 (assuming redshirt years) so I don't think you have the data to make the point that the 2010-11 recruiting classes were on par with the recruiting classes before them. To say that we've had more offensive players drafted since 2010 just means that we've had better talent since 2005. Your stat could be front loaded with talent which wouldn't debunk the theory that we had a dropoff in talent recruited in 2010-11

Stating that those players were recruited by the staff that apparently forgot to continue recruiting so that SL would have some players. There are very few players left on the roster from the 10-11 classes. From '11 left: (Asante, Holmes, Knowles, Malleck, Redman). From '10 left: (None, they would be in their 6th year). How many of these players did SL recruit (Thomas, fuller, painter, Wilson, coale)? Again in those same 3 years more offensive players got drafted than from Bud's defensives that performed at a top 25 level, correct?

Is it possible that the players drafted by the NFL since 2010 were actually recruited in the years 2005-2009? This stat does not back up your argument at all. Players are usually on campus for 4-5 years so there is a lag. Now if we have a ton of Senior offensive players drafted by the NFL this year and next year your argument would hold water since those would be the players recruited in 2010-11. Technically, you can't make that argument yet...but you may be able to in a couple years.
It's the right guy kind-of job at Indiana. If they broke out and went 10-3 and were beating a Wisconsin, Nebraska, Michigan type program once a year - that place would fill and they would have great community support.

Wake could be undefeated going into mid-November and I'm not sure a sell-out would be a given.
This past year Indiana averaged 42,000. Wake averaged 27,000
I guess my point is I would take the Indiana job over about 4 other jobs in the ACC.

I was 6'4" 135lbs in high school. Ran cross country like a gazelle and could count my ribs just standing still. I worked at Burger King and was probably downing 6,000 calories a day. Once I graduated I was able to put on a freshman 15 to get to 150 while at tech and have managed 192 at my peak.
