No Mullet no start
Of course.
But, it's not in my nature to pass up the opportunity and I was working from home and I hadn't met my needle quota.
No lie, my high school (I was there 2002-2006) still used mimeographs for handouts in class. That blue ink definitely had an interesting aroma.
You still in? I was on the TR twice; on my 2nd instructor duty now (1st time 'A' school, this time NPTU in NY).
"Oh let me have just a little bit of peril."
You can tell that it's the off season when we start comparing apples (an unproven team that hasn't taken it's first snap together) to oranges (information from a full season 6 years ago). A situation where nobody's wrong, but nobody's right either.
Does this team have the potential to be very good? IMHO yes, this could be a very dangerous, very good team. It could also be a flaming disappointment. There are just too many factors and variables involved in a full season to be comparing this team to anyone quite yet. Look at last year as a good example of that. Did that team have potential to be very good? Ask OSU. But we all know what transpired throughout the season. If we're going to compare this team to teams of the past at least wait until this season is in the past. That way we have something to use as comparison.
With that said... Onward to the ACC Championship and the Playoffs!!
-Bad, wicked, naughty Zoot! She has been setting fire to our beacon, which I have just remembered - is grail-shaped ... It is not the first time we've had this problem.
-It's not the real Grail?
-Wicked wicked Zoot ... she is a bad person and she must pay the penalty. And here in Castle Anthrax, we have but one punishment ... you must tie her down on a bed ... and spank her. Come!

Last time I updated Myspace was prior to Sept. 8th, 2007. The song on the miniplayer? Louisiana Saturday Night, probably there to this day, which is how I know when it was updated (along with a countdown timer to the LSU game). At least we got to see Tyrod for the first time.
I remember one year, I think it was right after we got back to school, a bunch of friends and I went down there to go to the ABC store. We pull into the parking lot and all look at each other like, "it was here, right?" For a while, we thought we had gone crazy. Nope, they just tore it down.
Very sad about El Guad's. Great place.
How about the old ditto machine? This is the 20th century, man.

12 months, zero posts, zero legs, with a gold star. You are very good at lurking, sir.

I'm super cereal on this website, always (/s just in case)
Yes, because lack of diversity started in Greek Life. /s
Let's look at the bigger picture. Lack of diversity is not secluded to greek life.
Have you looked into Patreon.com for recurring payments?
Craigslist has worked well for me on occasion, I've got a decent network for most games.
This one coming up.....
I'll cover Prodigy.
Hate to revive this, but in Reavis' statement, he mentions that he can go to whatever school he wants after his year away. For some reason, I wonder if that means he will try and come back to VT? I know some would say that a dismissal means never again, but we don't know what the stipulations and agreements were for punishment. Anyway, just speculating. If I recall, he even emphasized that. From what I can tell, he really only wants to play ball at VT.
If your name suggests the fraternity, I would say that you went through a different process than those on Greek Row.
Gucci was a HT when I started school and changed over when I was there. Apparently during that time, they opened and then tore down the free standing ABC store. Surprised no one mentioned that. Gucci also has Vintage Cellar nearby, so that covers the beers you may have missed at Kroger.
El Gaudalupe's was there, but is now closed. Which is sad, because it was the best Mexican restaurant in the area. I don't care what anyone says, El Rods is not good mexican. People only like it because of the margaritas. El Gran Rodeo is the best down there now. El Gauds though, still miss that place.
The town consistently changes. There was a drug store, that became crossroads records, which then became a Moes. Just like there was an Arnolds, that became Prestons, then woodys, then Sharkeys. I actually miss the old sharkeys. And what happened to Ton 80? Why did Mish Mish move to Main street?
Anyway, glad some stuff never changes though.
OK, as someone who rushed a fraternity basically on a whim because a friend from high school was in the fraternity, this just isn't true. Yes it costs money to be in a felraternity, but that money payed for room and board, tv, internet and food. And it was all less than it would have cost elsewhere. There was a little extra for dues but so what. And the fact that I got a bid was due more to my character matching the fraternity than anything else. And granted, the fraternity was small, so people might think we just wanted numbers, but after having been part of the process, we selected for attitude, grades and the rushee's for with the fraternity. Not for the size of their checkboo.
Every little bit helps.

So do you think the purposefully exluded and minority sisters they have?? Or perhaps they don't have any in their sorority, which is voluntary btw. Go look at sororities and fraternities at VT or any other school. I would argue that the very large number of those are white too. The only ones that have a large number of minorities are usually the historically black ones. Get off your high horse of there has to be some sort of racial representation for everything to be right. Just stop already. This is part of what's wrong with society. What do you care if all of them are white??? If you think they are racist because they don't have any minority sisters then don't let your daughter join them. Done.
