I didn't get to see much, although Snapchat had a nice clip of Edmunds getting a nice hole from the left side on the 1 vs 1 drive.
As for the Settle INT, he was flowing across with the aiming point for Lawson. He moved laterally (not ideal) but was tracking down the line for a quick throw, while his compatriot at DT (Harry Lewis wasn't getting much movement.) Meanwhile, Lawson got rushed just a bit after Jeremy Haynes (a walk on who always seems to be productive in practice and scrimmage tape) punched Austin Clark's hands down and rushed around the edge.

Now, let's hope he doesn't get in trouble for it. That is a lot of offensive lexicon up at the top.
It was just a hypothetical number and I was referring to win percentage. My point being that it almost guarantees certain games that it will backfire even if the overall win percentage appears appealing at first glance.

The book, Scorecasting, has an interesting chapter on this coach and his philosophy. I highly recommend the book as it addresses other common "facts" everyone knows, such as the impact of crowd noise, D winning championships, etc. As an engineer and post grad econ major I geeked out reading it. 4 buckeye leafs or turkey legs if you prefer...
Resident Viking fan here....Exum is basically a lock to make the final roster at this point, and is in a strong position to still earn a starting job at SS opposite Harrison Smith. Our GM went out of his way to praise him and mike zimmer has been super high on him, saying he needed to see him tackle live before moving him up the depth chart. Talent wise he probably deserves to be the starter this year, he just has to prove he can be consistent enough.
That man can move. NFL first round written all over that guy. No way he redshirted. He will be gone after three years regardless got to play him now. He will play every third defensive series IMO, and any goal and short. Also 25 on the tackle is that Peoples? Quick thinking going for the feet on a man that size.

My thought on Voytik is that Pitt used him in a way that had not been seen last year against us. That was their ace in the hole. That will not work against bud foster twice, especially as their talent does not meet ours. We're ready for that gameplan so I see this as a W for us.
On the other hand, James Conner is an NFL starter who happens to be playing college football at the moment.
Great for the BIG, the ACC hasn't done that. VT is restricted to 8 conference games and the dates to hold those games are set by ACC. Then the AD has to find a team willing to do a home and home series at a minimum. It's not that easy.

It was positively stirring then, and still gets my blood pumping to this day.
