I was impressed with how quick Settle is at his size. It's easy to hear everyone talk about it, seeing is believing. Lawson is the real deal, might be a year or 2 away but he's gonna be real special. D-line is solid, specifically DT. Dark horse of the day, in my opinion, is CJ Carroll. Kid is small, made a bunch of hard catches and moved really well in traffic.

I feel that if Brewer's protection is better than last year, his heart-attack-crossed-with-an-aneurysm-inducing plays will decrease. I'm not saying he'll be LT3 vs '11 Miami every week, but he also shouldn't feel like staying in the pocket for the extra second for a better pass means meeting up with this guy.
But what if women want to piss on the walls too! Why should their piss stand out on pink tiles! That's privilege if I've ever seen it before.

I am so impressed with the Hokies ability to stack up players over the last two years. Despite the fact that we needed to make offensive coaching changes at LEAST three years before we did, I am glad that Frank Beamer is the coach. VT is cemented as a CF team that has high national expectations every year because of him (and *cough* bud).
Cannot WAIT for the season to start. I wouldn't bet on a national championship but we're going to WHOOP the shit out of teams who meet us on our best days, and that's something special considering the last few years...again, Frank, as the leader of this organization recognized deficiencies and made the right changes - we should never take this guy for granted; very few men who've walked planet earth could do with VT football what he has.

No, I just completely forgot to mention him. He actually made a few very nice runs and throws but he was limping noticeably just trying to get back to the huddle and up to the LOS. Looks to be pretty talented though.

Great post Shabutie!! Was AM around the ball a lot? Some of the snapchats I had seen had him out of position a few times just like he was last year. Chase Williams played great against OSU but I fear that if AM is not where he needs to be then that we will be in for a loong night with Elliot.
