I was sad when Redford Bros closed, it always had a mom and pops feel. Many successful picnics started with a stop there for some fried chicken.

Can't wait until the scrimmage report is up. Settle with an INT, Riley with an INT, Hodges looks great.

but the university said Friday that the new information will force them to delay their original response to the Notice of Allegations, which was scheduled to come out on or before Aug. 18, the 90-day period that the school has to publish its response.

"Wait, you can't punish us yet! We did some more stuff, and want to water down the blame and spread it around as if that serious stuff weren't the focus of all of this. Oh, and now that's getting to be a long time ago, so it seems unfair to punish the people who are around now. And the fans, don't forget the fans!"

Outlaw comparative language, as it always comes at someone's expense, and we're not supposed to notice differences any more.

How about they demolish the entire university mall and try again. The whole place blows. I had an online math class so was at the Math Empo all summer long. Truly is hell on earth. Glad that's over.

I'm a student now so I'm too young to remember Cloverleaf mall in its prime, but have lived in Richmond my entire life and can confirm how ghetto the entire area is/was. Only thing I miss is the shoe place next to Shoe City, which had LeBrons and Js for the cheapest price you could ever find. No idea what happened to the place now. I think it was called Sports Zone or something like that.

Justin I'm just going to call you my "well educated translator"

I'll type it and you make it make sense and look well written.

Yet he still turned it over three times including an ill advised out cut and not protecting the ball on a sack (by an all american). He also was hit so hard and so many times that it likely affected his play.

I agree, that's who he is. He will make a handful of gutsy plays, be a good scrambler and play his balls off. He will also force balls with less than preferable velocity, get overwhelmed in the pocket, and frequently get hit hard enough to fumble or be injured.

He's like 3/4 of a Brett Favre.

Well see! I hope he can contribute along with everyone else. It just doesn't sound good that he wasn't really in the conversation for nickel even though its mostly true freshmen there.

Ok I assume we are gonna get someone on here to talk about it right. I don't have a Twitter yet so I'm just a little in the dark.

Twitter is about the only place, VT doesn't want video of this. Follow Alex, Andy two best I've seen, lots of play by play.

Per VT Football Twitter, no live video streams of any sort are allowed. I'm following beat writers on Twitter for all updates.

It very well could have been an accidental downvote that got changed into an upvote. Best practice around here is to not make a comment about receiving a downvote.

Ghetto is a location, not a race. Implying that using the term is racist is assuming a specific race lives there and is inherently racist.

Look at the linebacker and running back position and who Trey and Tremaine have to compete with for pt vs who Terrell has to compete with, as a freshman he had Fuller, Facyson, Clark, Jarrett, and Bonner all ahead of him and then Reavis was in his class. It was probably best that we redshirted him last year being that Frye, Greene, and Riley were the top backups. I think Terrell will be fine honestly.
