Bitter Blog - Someone Said Football Happened Today, I Just Drank a Beer

I hope we win for many reasons and one of them is to watch 11W crumble into chaos.

Oh yeah, Brock Berlin. I still remember that shot of him just lying face down on the ground in frustration after one of his big interceptions. He absolutely fell apart over the course of that game. I'm hoping we can do much of the same defensively against OSU - come out and jump on them early, force a turnover, and set up our offense with great field position. I feel like whichever team can come out hot and force a turnover or two will end up winning this game. Both offenses are going to have to protect the ball.

That Miami '05 game still burns me. That was an epic matchup, and I honestly think the moment was just too big for a very immature Marcus Vick. I remember him just crumbling under the pressure. Miami came in very prepared for that environment and got us back that night.

We had a chance to have won that game despite Brewer throwing 3 picks, one being a pick six.

No need to sugar coat it... That pick six was a backbreaking gift on a silver platter. It was an awful, awful decision thrown right to the defender who rightfully housed it.

So AB what type of articles are you going to write now?? Maybe some gameday food places and bars? Maybe we could have a video recap of a Night at TOTS??

didnt lose much from that team.

I do believe they lost their top two WRs and all their RBs. I'm pretty sure QB is the only returning starter for skill positions that they have. I think people have them ranked high because they went 11-2 last year and won the coastal. No way they do it again. We had a chance to have won that game despite Brewer throwing 3 picks, one being a pick six.

Out of curiosity do the coaches or AD decide to close it? I feel like since Loeffler's been here it's been more and more closed, but I might just be making that up in my mind.

Man, I've never seen that. The two other guys that sit next to me in the office, who aren't even VT fans, were crackin' up listening to Corey there. Truly awesome.

This is the misconception about football coverage, as if some minor observations from media folks is going to give away the entire game plan. Ohio State has an entire game of film against the Hokies from last year to look at. It's not like they won't have an idea of what VT will do.

And if it's really so super secret? Don't do it in the 15 minutes the media usually gets to watch. It's usually just stretching and individual drills anyway. Cutting this little piece of access to practice accomplishes nothing.

Ve haf vays to geet informatsion fram you.

No offense meant here, but you could dig up those five dedicated UVa fans who attended their spring game and get a story on them. We could use some humor around here as we wait.
