I mean, I think its pretty safe to say most everyone believes Clemson is going to win the ACC. FSU is always good, and you can definitely make a case for GT to win the coastal, mainly because they are the previous champs and didnt lose much from that team. With Clemson the favorite, I think that #'s 2-4 are a jumbled mess and you could go with just about any prediction. I definitely think we'll beat GT for the coastal crown, but until its decided on the field, Im not gonna lose any sleep over meaningless preseason predictions
Is it ok to post tickets for sale on this site?
He tried being a WVU fan, but was always on a call.

I think the off-season has given everyone lots of extra time to work themselves up into a tizzy. I've also seen far more cross-pollination between fan sites than ever before. It has given us some interesting conversations and fascinating insights, but has also meant both sides have more exposure to the more fanatical fans of the other side.
The rhetoric has definitely ramped up as the clock has ticked down. Not sure if it's the regulars getting more excited or the crazies coming out of the woodwork (probably a bit of both).
GT #2...
ESPN sure is drinkin that bottle of urine thinking its Yellow Kool-Aid, huh?
I record it, and watch the game when I can though an App. If we lose I delete the game. If not, my friend (who does the same thing a lot due to his kids sports) and I get together and watch it. Its never as good as watching live, which is never as good as being at the game, but I don't usually have to suffer from a drink to forget the game hang-over either, ad ,makes the ones I can go to a little more special.
I think if you look again, most of the posts over here start with something like OSU WILL PROBABLY WIN, BUT...IF we do, those things help.
I seriously haven't seen very many "VT wins because..." over here, without the "IF" in front. While we know we CAN beat the Buckeyes, we also know what happened the second half of last season and the playoff. I have seen a lot of 10-2, 11-1 predictions for *after* we [redacted] to the Buckeyes.
Mentioning Lane Stadium and Bud's defense as factors in a possible win is no more delusional than "the atmosphere of the 'Shoe at night...we've haven't lost a home opener in...Urban's never lost a regular season game...etc."
ha only 12...yep, got to get fit for the upcoming season. smart. he'll be switching over to pancakes once the season truly starts.
With Coach Wiles' history of coaching up guys that fit what he's looking for, this verbal pleases me greatly. Torch has been doused.
I'll take "Extreme Understatements" for 1000 please, Alex
I've got one in each color in the 09-13 style (With the old T in the V logo on the collar instead of the VT), a maroon #4, an orange #42, and a white #99. I make sure to wear the jersey color that matches the one the team is wearing that day. It helps our chances, and don't try to tell me otherwise.
just at quick glance I could see LOLUVA finishing in the neighborhood of 3-9 with wins over B&M, 'Cuse, and probably Miami because for whatever reason LOLUVA beats them when they really have no business doing so
Whit is good at his job.
We dont need your completely reasonable and well thought out argument here! YOU JUST KEEP BEING DELUSIONAL IN YOUR anOSU CORNER!! /s
I can definitely see your point. What grinds our gears (brace yourself because you've heard this 1000 times by now) is even after defeating OSU last season VT seems to STILL be completely written off for this game and as a fanbase we feel slighted. FWIW I dont think we win BECAUSE of enter sandman, but it definitely does something to the atmosphere of Lane
I think hiring Frank Beamer comes in a close second to promoting Bud Foster to DC.

What line of work are you in? Does it allow using the watch espn app or monitoring the game with your phone? Being weekend work, I assume it's not sitting at a desk. So let's assume you can't "monitor" the game while working....
DVR it and use the time to unplug from the world of social media and smart phones. Or you know, work. I know I've missed a few games in the smart phone era and social media will spoil everything, as will sports apps and their alerts. When I was in college I worked a lot of Saturdays at an independent retail store so I would just put the game on the radio in the store. Without that, the loss of Bill Roth wouldn't have hit me as hard, but for my entire college career I listened to Bill Roth call the games I couldn't be at.
So, so jealous.
Well, I didn't feel singled out, really, given your obvious interest in the show and having read your posts again, I just really caught the "invest" thing, so I can see your interest in a more substantive discussion on the perceived flaws of the show. I am usually easily motivated to be expansive, so I can understand your wanting to engage in more than "it's bad" observation. I loved Memento, by the way, so it wasn't just the style. I think the reason it seemed overly "convoluted" may have a lot to do with me losing interest often which led to inattention. I honestly wouldn't be interested in binge watching this show, I didn't like it enough. After last night's episode, I had had more than enough. My wife and I discussed this a bit, and she paid more attention than I did and still didn't like it. We laughed out loud at Frank's blood dripping drag through the desert and felt that Colin's ending was pretty lame, too. Not sure you'll love season one like we, and most folks I've talked with did, but I hope you will because it was definitely quality tv. My taste in tv runs to shows like Justified, Prime Suspect, Mad Men, Ray Donovan just to name a few. In the end, though, I just didn't like the show, and 'splainin' why is a bit like justifying my dislike of green peas. Why? I don't know, I just don't, you know?
There were 2 more days of practice!! Where are my other 2 articles!?!?!?

Great review of a practice.
Bazinga
all the OSU fans on it are just delusional
I had to go look myself. All is a stretch....I mentioned before, the lopsided score predictions are fans being fans. you get that stuff from all fans in every sport.
I have seen this "Delusional" Buckeye fan accusation a lot on TKP. I will say this, when you are the 1st ever CFP champions and won games in hostile environments on the path to doing it... Fans have a right to be delusional. As long as the players aren't, is what matters.
FYI - VT wins because...Enter Sandman...because, Lane...because, Foster...All sounds delusional to tOSU fans.
I love how the "IT'S A TRAP" gif showed up in both comment threads.

# | Virginia Tech Football Recruiting: 2016 DE Jimmie Taylor Commits to the Hokies You could or you couldn't?

GT had a lucky horseshoe lodged so far up their asses last year that many forgot it even existed.
They benefited from numerous unforced late game completely bone headed decisions by opponents to get some wins that pushed them to Coastal Champions. I mean, give them their due, they capitalized on them all and won the division and beat up on Miss St in Miami, but man... I dunno. I just don't see it happening again. So, so many things had to break right for them last year, and on top of that, they somehow managed to remain healthy throughout. People forget just how many in Atlanta were calling for Paul Johnson's head prior to the start of last year. I suspect this season will remind them of why that was.
