Every time I read the name of their site my dyslexic brain definitely sees "Elven Warriors" and this is all I can think of...

thats a surefire way to watch a football game your team could be winning and still be pissed off
See: every single game in which VT is playing a weak FBS or FCS team.
It is hard to be anything but impressed with what Whit is doing here at VT. I like the risks we are taking and money we are willing to spend to get a return on investment. A nice breath of fresh air for our program. It is hard to put a dollar figure on the fan experience but I can tell you that the tens of thousands I have spent on VT football over the years is due mostly to the fact that I had some incredible game experiences when I was younger. Here's to hoping Mr. Babcock is a lifer here at VT.
Not sure. Is HokieTapes Phreak? The HT YouTube channel has a ton of games, and not just football.
This is why the suspensions for them hurt, because they're now very thin with experience at WR, so our secondary should be able to matchup pretty well with them to contain the passing game, which should allow for us to focus more on stopping the run. Before, I'm not sure we would have been able to do both, and they would have picked that weakness apart.
True, thats where I am currently searching for stuff. I was wondering if there is a better option.
That's actually the exact comment I was thinking of when I made my statement. And I agree, its just fan talk. I just dont understand what makes one seriously believe that will be the score at halftime. Someone on one of these threads said it already, but thats a surefire way to watch a football game your team could be winning and still be pissed off

AMEN BROTHA
If we had this same team returning during our 10 win streak, there would be a national buzz about the possibilities.
If this team won 10 games last year, it would imply that we are returning a quality offensive line. Our offensive line (and RBs) has too many unanswered questions to warrant national buzz beyond what they are currently getting.
Might as well throw Drew Harris on there as well.
Boom, now we're leading
Agreed. Everyone is obsessed with OSU's QB depth but I'm much more worried about Elliot carrying the rock all night long.
Ok. I'll go ahead and suspend Melvin Keihn and Holland Fisher.
And I write this knowing that nobody is going to have any sympathy for sports writers. ("Stupid media should butt out anyway!!!") But it's my job to try to provide for fans insight into the team. And when those opportunities to glean some knowledge about it are limited or removed, I don't think anybody is better off for it.
That's one battle we don't really mind if you win.
Youtube has a surprisingly high number of games to watch
I love how Tech is using Snapchat, but it's not anything like watching a public scrimmage.
I was TKPing too

It's about seeing who's still at practice (ie. Holland Fisher, Shawn Payne, etc.) It's about seeing who's in blue. It's about adding color and anecdotes, as brief as they might be, to stories. It's about being around the program to get an understanding of where these guys are coming from.
You can tell a lot about what coaches are thinking by how they interact with guys. And having that knowledge allows you to ask smarter questions that produce better results in interviews later. It all goes hand in hand.
And the fact that there are fewer media opportunities this year compared to previous years (about half as many the first few weeks, in fact), makes the kind of coverage we'd like to provide to readers not possible.
due has PR written all over him. Definitely think Whit should look into bringing him in as a spokesman for the athletic department /s
I think McMillian will turn some heads and have an impact vs OSU. The guy has a ton of speed, and could be used as a traditional running back or receiving threat. I'm sure we will get him on the field in some fashion. Trey and JC will be the main guys, but Travon will be in the mix. I could see him working into a Reggie Bush-esque role on offense and special teams.
Listen, you guys are already behind on the suspension scoreboard: 4-2. You need to step it up. :)
Huge fan of Shane, he is going to be a great HC one day. Maybe not at Tech but somewhere.
Looks like this is from the first day, a bit of behind-the-scenes with Shane. Gotta love his energy, if nothing else. Looks like there's also punishment when anyone fumbles.

Tacos, you say?
