Stroman needs to sit with Teller and the OL for every meal.
I heard he left him at McDonalds. What could go wrong there?
Facyson is back.
Bud Foster on the first day: "I saw the Brandon Facyson that I saw two years ago." Said he made a couple athletic plays. #Hokies— Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) August 7, 2015
Echoing players and medical staff, #Hokies DC Bud Foster says CB Brandon Facyson back to 2013 form.— David Teel (@DavidTeelatDP) August 7, 2015
Also, calling BruceSmiff....
That's to distinguish him from Mite Berman...height advantage, you know.
No one is talking about being scared of them. This conversation seems to be about respecting them, which clearly most do not. Not respecting a team is how you lose games you shouldn't. And that only furthers their rise. Do we not remember Boise State suddenly being not only relevant, but a perennial top 25 team for a solid decade? ODU has the potential to be even better. All it takes is one committed administration, and so far, that's what I've seen out of ODU.
Let me just say...I feel pretty good about the ones (experience, speed, talent, power everywhere...and health, if the printer is to be believed, may he or she rest in peace).
Yep. I personally would feel great about a 6'5" 215 athletic and rangey OLB matched up on their TEs and H-Backs. This could be interesting.

Or in the case of last years ecu game, "When the f*** did we switch from black and purple to white?" Brewer after first quarter
Yeah, as I recall the shift started with our struggles at whip in 2010. Combined with the increased prevalence of spread attacks and the role playing into the strengths of a young Kyle Fuller and Antone Exum, it made sense.
We ran a hyper aggressive 4-4 look (out of 4-3 personnel) in the latter part of 2012 after Michael Cole got hurt, but, as I recall, we were even running 4-4 looks out of 4-2-5 personnel at times last year with Chuck Clark and Kyshoen Jarrett walked up.
I agree about OSU. I would guess it would depend somewhat on how we feel about Vandyke matching up with their tight ends.
Would be a nice departure from the Oh Sh!t Offense I'm so accustomed to...
Negative recruiting will spin it as we don't know how to place top 4* and above talent in our defense.
That Dline

I know it never feels good to lose any player on the team unless they had disciplinary/attitude issues, especially not a highly-touted 4* recruit pursued by the likes of Alabama. However, and unfortunately, it didn't seem like Holland was making quick moves up the depth chart as we all hoped for, switching positions from Rover (I believe?) to Whip and then falling behind Shegog there. Maybe it was an issue of being too small for one and too slow for the other -- I don't really know. But I do know that this loss is more akin to Keihn's absence rather than Reavis'. Y'all remember Nick Dew from a few years back? Sort of reminds me of that situation. Sucks, but we'll be fine.
Edit: to acknowledge that we all could be completely jumping the gun on this random rumor, and I'd be happy to have him still on the team :). He is, afterall, still just a RS-Fr.
Followed by the "Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh s**t" defense
Nah, MV7 was actually a star at the school he'd be representing. Different karma.
Per mile barber he was excused from practice. Can't embed as I'm on mobile
When I saw this was posted, my eyes went immediately to the Rover position. I remember reading that Riley didnt fare that well at the position during the spring (or maybe just not as well as Reavis), but can anyone tell me if they remember anything about how Frye performed?
I don't think it's in the cards. I believe that bringing Slye's level of brutality on an every-play basis is considered unsportsmanlike conduct against Frank.
Please, please, please tell me that Marcus didn't slip in the door behind him.
Excellent photobomb by Mr. VT visor guy.
I love photobombs.
Are they giving him a look at Mike?
I just hope he doesn't bring the same "luck" Lebron brought OSU for our game last year:

The hubs and I think it would be cool if all the on-campus street signs were maroon with the Pylons logo or something similar.
