In the past that wouldn't be as big of an issue because we could use him for three plays and get him out of the game. Now with the no huddle teams that gets more difficult... especially against Ohio St.

Also, I agree with McMillian big time and I much more optimistic about the depth at DE this year. Dooley has improved some and I think Mihota can be a player.

Congrats- it isn't often where your kicker is also one of your best kick coverage tacklers.

I read it as "JC is capable of being a consistent contributor, which means we don't have to rush anyone onto the field (i.e. burn their redshirt) before they're ready." Could be missing what he was saying though, pretty awkwardly phrased.

I remember the play the coach was talking about from his Wedley Estime days in which he ran down a receiver from way behind outta no where. I watched his youtube highlights when he committed, its probably still on there. He ran like a deer and made their DB's as well as the opposing WR look like they were standing still. What a pick up for that high school team and a good job by that coach to get that much out of a kid who hasnt played before. Even bigger that he has come this far, he will have really made a name for himself by the time his career here is done and will be playing in the NFL.

Oh and Maddy is awesome too, his play as a freshman in '11 was key to a real nice season.

There's a rule in there (Rule 9) about "making a travesty of the game." Pretty sure humiliating every member of the opposing offense by having your kicker wreck them every play could qualify.
