PS Shai has completed his 50 hours of community service in just 4 days.. he is now eligible to return to the team 100%. he did 3 back to back to back 15 hour shifts and finished his last 5 hour shift today

not just TKP. This is one of the best things ever published anywhere about Hokies football players!! I was a huge fan of Maddy & Dadi before this article, but now I feel totally pumped for these guys for their last year but not only that. I really hope they make their Master Plan come true - what a truly great story. Thanks TKP. It's also a great reflection of Beamer and Wiles and our beloved football staff recruiting, coaching, and helping turn these young kids into great men - they're doing it the "Beamer Way" for sure! Go Maddy & Dadi!!!

Awesome pics. The 2nd Civil War overlook that is shorter is Wind Rock which I mentioned earlier in this thread. The view there is awesome as well. Dragon's Tooth is cool and not too far outside Blacksburg. I did some rock climbing on it while in college. Thanks for the pics. I have to talk my wife into going to McAfee Knob. Its the best overlook view on the entire Appalachian Trail. Its NW of Roanoke I think.

Not right downtown, but Sal's has the best pizza in Bburg. Downtown it's close between Cellar, PKs, and Mike's IMO. Mike's is very underrated for pizza, but it's hard for me not to order a burger when I go there
