A street is a good start.
I think this was a classy statement by Reavis to show support and thank his coaches and teammates. Whatever happened here didn't land the man in jail so I find it hard to believe the punishment meets the crime. Getting kicked out of school is one thing, but getting kicked out of the school you picked to play ball over a lot of other great options must be extremely painful. Can you imagine being a starter and looking forward to the Ohio St game and have this happen? I wish him luck, but man it will be bittersweet knowing he could have done it in Blacksburg.
Now I could be wrong and maybe he did a terrible thing...but there are no facts to back that up.
Freshmen have been able to buy season tickets for a couple of seasons now.

We all know that when your 18 you do not listen to anyone but yourself, parents are stupid and your ten feet tall and bulletproof. It will never happen to me should be the official teenage quote. We have all been there and know maturity happens at all different ages.
If you really believe that coaches are actually going to give opponents anything to look at on film in an open scrimmage, we need to get together. I've got all kinds of bridges, trinkets, and magic beans that you may be interested in.
If true, IMO this is GREAT news. I hate open scrimmages and much prefer our staff to keep practices as private as possible. I'd rather win games by surprising some opponents than having our fans be able to attend scrimmages.

Hell the insane ones are the most fun. Unfortunately they usually murder you half way thru the fun. But ya have the time of your life before you go lol

How about when we close in the North End Zone, with an actual foundation, we call it the Beamer Zone. Or name it something related to Beamer that someone who hasn't been drinking comes up with that is somewhat creative. Eliminate the student lottery, and allow freshmen to get season tickets.
Like it was said above though, about time he has gotten some recognition around campus.
