I think now is a good time to remind everyone that Melvin Keihn immediately transferred to Maryland after this case ended...
That's a big leap you just made
All I hear is how tOSU is full of excuses....Hmmmm
I don't have excuses. We got our asses kicked, licked our wounds, went to work and won the NC. Oh, and with our third string QB. We were surviving too.
I think a few guys improved at their respective positions, but after the insane amount of injuries at key positions, last year wasn't about improving, it was about surviving.
Some fan I am... I only know the names of the top 3 in Ohio State's QB depth chart :(
Coleman makes a nice block in the first play in Motley's clip.
that game was in November and all I hear is how much your team improved....I think we improved too.
Because everyone treats the Hokie Handbook like the iTunes User Agreement. "Yada, yada, yada...where do I sign?" It's all posted online; it may not specifically say "we can expel you," but the implication is pretty clear with "severe consequences for first-time offenses" in some instances.
I can take my medicine :)
FYI - I did a quick search on 11W for "Lane Stadium" to find these tOSU fans you speak of and found one guy (I said a quick search). His post was followed by someone correcting him and also a Hokie fan who was warmly welcome. (I didn't read all comments, but the one I'm referring to isn't that far down) Just so you don't think all tOSU fans are jerks:

I won't defend the Wake debacle too much, though we were pretty much trotting out the walking wounded by that point. The OL did fail pretty spectacularly all day, though. But if you're going to poke us with our record, I'll gladly remind you of bragging rights until such time that your guys manage to beat us. As they say, that's why they play the game.
I don't think most people did not think it existed, only that not many (including myself) knew the upper limit of what the SCC were capable of passing down punishment-wise. I certainly knew about the SCC and that they could hand out punishment, just not to what extent they could punish.
Seriously, you lost to a 7-6 team, out of conference, in your own house.
You did, and congats on beating the National Champions. (I usually up vote replies, good or bad, but I'm not there yet)
**Seriously, you lost to Wake 6-3, in double OT...C'mon**

Keihn was given the opportunity to either snitch on Reavis or they both would be kicked out. Keihn did what's best for him and is now enrolled in Maryland.

Just stay healthy!
I also think there's a huge distinction between branding the playing surface and branding the building.
I'm totally cool with selling off the naming rights to the court, but I prefer they leave Cassell and Lane un-sponsored.
Well, not anymore.
Remain calm. The kids (TKPers) are relying on you.
Something special this way comes. Would that a beastly offensive line also appear. I drool in anticipation.
Eric is an old friend of mine. The English program is better there. The VT English department let me skip first semester with a 42% on my SAT 2 Writing (that's pretty sad).... I'll even admit UVA was an educational step up in that department
in all other respects...UVA sucks
If this is the beamer who came shortly after me, i'm Ransom's little brother.
"Tyrod Taylor only burned his redshirt(s) because of a horrendous pass blocking offensive line, and broken offense."
I can still hear the boobirds calling for Sean Glennon's head. I always thought he got a bad rap that year. He wasn't a very mobile QB and his offensive line gave him absolutely no time to execute. Druckenmiller wasn't mobile but look was he was able to accomplish with a line that protected him.
When I see what Glennon's brother has accomplished, it saddens me to think of what Sean might have done.
"TEABAG PAULUS!!!!!"
Or no calves...

Well, it's one thing to simply buy naming rights. It's another to have a partnership, like VT and Cariilion have for the medical school that VT is rolling out and starting. This is slightly different, but not much differnt than Papa Johns Stadium at Louisville. If they bought the name at a school they weren't associate with, sure it's odd. But at least there is a huge partnership with the VTC School of Medicine.

Self deprecating sarcasm will get you far here.
