Honestly, I don't think so. Loeffler is a passing game coach from what I have seen. I think the running game will be very influential to how our offense plays this year, but as for a power run game, I don't see Loeffler going in that direction.

No, it's still Danny Coale, just not 24/7 any more. In fact, they might just be open for breakfast/lunch. Makes me nostalgic for 3am omelet and milkshake runs from Thomas hall freshman year. That was shortly before they stopped selling milkshakes at night due to drunk folk buying too many and then, um, trying to return them. Too much clean up hassle for the graveyard shift waiters.

I agree with what you are saying. I just think we don't see them often enough to be completely comfortable if they come out firing on all cylinders in a spread no-huddle. Not saying Bud can't shut it down, but I'm saying that the time between getting punched in the teeth by a no-huddle hurry up offense and adapting to shut it down could be the difference in the game. If Bud reacts fast and stays proactive, vt could very well win the game. If not, I can't see us with a solid chance at winning. Jmo

On the acting I 100% agree. McConaghey was fantastic in season 1, and I feel like Woody might be one of the most overlooked good to great actors in the last decade+.

The supernatural element in Season 1 made the story seem like it was more than it really was in some was, but I can't argue that was also a big part of the appeal.

See I don't get that logic because 20 or not, he's yet to go through a NCAA practice so we have absolutely no idea if he's even good enough to make it for a full 4 years on the team. Khein was a 4 star and he didn't last. I don't think it's ever wise to plan on a recruit just staying for two or three years of play time.

Clemson, OSU, Michigan and UNC all come to mind as talented spread teams that VT has handled pretty well recently. Sure there have been games like UCLA or this past year's BC game that give us pause, but it isn't like spread no-huddle concepts have destroyed Bud's gameplans consistently over the years.
