Maybe because he already lifted all of the Hokie weights, and he took a sabbatical to search for more?
Slingin the ball all over the field? He had 3 pass attempts
His uncle posted on Facebook that he also set the linebacker bench press record this summer.

We use no-huddle for every play. We hurry to the line, then often the players will check in with the sideline to see if they want to make any changes based on the defensive formation. I can definitely see us speeding up the tempo tho this year. Last year's game we played about as slow as any game under Urban, undoubtedly bc Foster was in the head of Herman all freaking game. Our interior line was the huge weakness at the start of last year. They manhandled Bama's DT's in the Sugar Bowl. Biggest weakness this year will be our new RT (former dlineman). Worried about Dadi matching up with him all night.
Football was obviously interfering with his time in the gym.
Enough credibility that he's contractually obligated not to mention WVU.
God, I miss Danny Coale.

They go no-huddle as it is.
From what Brewer said during ACC media days, Rogers will be playing that H back-slot type role who would be comparable to Byrn or Mallek as far as route concepts (short, underneath).
I would think Bradshaw or Newsome could be a good fit for the Coale type role. Getting downfield a little more but working the spaces clear our by Ford and Phillips
Keep in mind, Corey Fuller looked like he wanted no part of any contact or going over the middle during the Spring of 2012, only to make a living off of slants all year en route to being drafted. New coach, new year, last go-round... I wouldn't count out Knowles just yet. Caleb, though, is a guy I really want to see put it together now.
It's a little too mellow in there...
I think Carroll is listed as holder on field goals and extra points. I always find it interesting when coaches put someone there who is not a QB (like a punter), but having someone there with great hands is smart.

# | Who will emerge as the next "Danny Coale/Willie Byrn" receiver this season? Knowles doesnt wanna take a hit either, he wont be going over the middle. Caleb, definitely has what it takes as far as size and athleticism. And he doesnt seem to mind contact. I just hope he puts it all together, he could really save his career and help us out.
Thank ya. I was on vacation that week and missed that whole thread. My mistake.
As soon as I read the thread title, this was the guy that came to mind for me as well.
There was a time when I thought
GumbyBackstreet's was the greatest pizza in the world, and I don't think I ever had it sober
I think the nuts will use to some kind of no-huddle/hurry up or quick snap count to prevent VT from making reads and blitz calls. Last year showed we had the scheme and talent to match up so this year it will be about using tricks.
Judging by the selfie posted here, I think we can all agree his "leaving the team" was a smokescreen for him to go through S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Super Soldier Serum program.
Wait a minute. Do you mean Joe's Dinner Fullers now?
shut your cod hole!
Sounds like MM Blacksburg has some serious management issues.
does this mean JCC has competition for the title of "maroon smurf?"
I did too, but I do most of my TKP checks at work and I don't see many adds for chemical equipment and supplies or spongebob gifs and all kinds of Russian bride and Asian dating ads, also a lot of medicinal ads.

I don't know if they have a guy that fits the role. Asante and Newsome are guys that are more jet sweep and screen guys. Knowles, Bradshaw, and Meyer are intermediate route guys (and Bradshaw can get behind people.) keep in mind, byrn's role was minimized as the season went on. I think that the offense will adjust to the available talent, rather than jamming those guys as round pegs into square holes.
