I would also suggest a walkabout around campus. The war memorial, the campus shooting memorial, Burress Hall, all are worth a look. VT's campus is a great place to spend some time soaking up the VT vibe before the game. As Hammer has said, plenty of advice for what to do bar/party/food-wise, but don't let the opportunity to view and experience the campus apart from football escape you. Have fun, be safe, and enjoy the game.
