Might have also been injury related, but he's obviously been working out like crazy so I think the chances of that are low.
Jeez..O Line he doesn't have to weight 300.
Looks like his legs are still skinny in relation to his upper body. (skinny legs = fast legs)
Does anyone recall why he left the program? Glad to have him return!

I think the best outcome I can think of is a bad MD team going 3-and-out frequently and having trouble getting off the field on defense, giving a certain linebacker a lot of snaps on the field to rack up stats.

# | Special Edition of ESPN's College GameDay is Coming to Blacksburg on Labor Day Yeah, we got out in the closest cash lot to the stadium early, around 10:30 or so. After setting up I looked around, and saw nothing but VT fans. I couldn't figure it out. Where were all the Buckeyes? I started paying attention as their fans arrived in the lot and about 95% of them parked their car, got right out, and walked towards the stadium (either to that big ass outdoor bar that I can't remember the name of but unplugged their jukebox at the end of the night after 10 enter sandmans were played in a row or a tailgate in the lot right next to the stadium). While in the cash lot we taught them how we tailgated then about 2 hrs before the game headed towards the stadium. Those tailgates were more like what I expected.

Agree with that. It would be nice to pull a 5* instate talent once in a while.
I hope Melvin dominates and sets himself up well to make some big bucks at the next level and I wish him well. I do not wish the team he is going to well though.
