We can rebuild it, we can make it stronger.

Outside OSU none of the other teams will be good.
pretty much what I do with some overhead squats thrown in as well.
I would think so. I am going to record it every day until Beamer is featured, then I'll get it on the site for everyone.
Speaking of CJ Reavis, should we have not heard something by now? Thanks, Andy!

I do not approve of this.
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but wasn't the NFL given access to the phones and texts of all of the other relevant parties...which would also have any texts sent to/from Brady?
So Mr. Law School...explain to me how the analogy doesn't apply to the Hardy and Brady cases?
I am enjoying how the SEC is finally getting pushed off their pedistal by some of the media. Their bowl game performances, cupcake out of conference schedules, and BS excuses are finally catching up with them. This can only mean one thing, Good Things...

I wouldn't call anything an allegation, mostly just rumors. Been so long that no one knows what might or might not be true. I really hope no one starts posting stuff they've heard from their uncle's cousin's fishing buddy, because we will go downhill really fast. I've heard some stuff and it seems ridiculous. Next time you're in a grocery store checkout line, look to the nearest tabloid, and whatever you see on the cover is something that someone has said Bud Foster did at one time. And to me, those statements have the same credibility.
The one thing that I know for a fact (and this comes from players) is that the guys will basically jump onto a burning, sinking ship if Bud needed them to. They love the man and are loyal to him. That, to me, is all that matters.
He can also simply select someone else.
Personally, I don't think you're reading too much into it. I actually think this might be the likeliest of reasons to why we're starting to see it more and more. Makes you wonder if a decision hasn't already been made behind the scenes.
That said, in my opinion, it would be kind of cool to have a bronze statue of the LP at the entrance (not exit, the entrance where the team goes into the tunnel) for all the players to rub before they enter Lane, signifying them all going to work.
Mangino was how fat he was
I shouldn't have laughed, but I did. You also left out Golden is the over-sized shirt with the pit stains.
Yeah, in all seriousness, I agree. If he's successful he's my number 1 candidate over Bud. I think a coach like that would be able to keep Bud in the fold, as long as he has complete control over the defense.
That's a load of BS. Wonder if it'll be aired at some point.
For us younger people who weren't around back in the day, could we please get an actual explanation of what is alleged to have occurred? I'm really curious.
Not really... I mean, we use it, sure... But not in any real major regard, and I am not sure if we have any trademarks on LPD. With the amount the LP is out and about this year, as opposed to the past, and knowing we apparently have an upcoming rebranding that Nike has already been experimenting with... It does make you wonder.
Also, considering what the LPD represents, I wonder if this isn't a little bit of forward thinking to get a certain brand in place before we begin the process of introducing a certain guy to be our head coach.
I would think that in an already functioning dynasty league, the preseason would be even more important so that you can evaluate the rookies. But then again, I don't know shit about dynasty leagues.
That is the direction I was seeing too. I mean, many schools and their coaches have something to associate them with the program whether tangible or not. Saban has "the program," Kiffin is the visor, Tressell was the vest, Bear Bryant was the Houndstooth Hat, Mangino was how fat he was, etc. For us that is BeamerBall. Now it seems the path is being paved for the Lunch Pail to ascend to the throne. But I'm probably reading way too far into this.
I definitely wouldnt hate that! I'd love to have a big nike swoosh next to my big lunch pail on a t-shirt. That would kill it in sales. I know I'd wear the hell out of it.
Drink. It has been posted already, but I think this is worth its own thread if it helps get more TKPers and Hokies in the seats.
The Lunch Pail has been a symbol of VT football, and local reporters have written about it, and ESPN might mention for a couple of seconds or show a picture as part of a game intro, but it seems like the athletic department is ramping up its promotion to make it a more significant part of Tech's brand.
Although the Hokies' heartbreaking 27-24 loss to Georgia Tech happened nearly a full year ago, the memory of the game still stings
I see what you did there... dammit

You win.
