Not necessarily a re-post, but I posted this a few minutes ago on the 2015 ticket exchange thread. You can drink if you want.
This should go Plaid!
So when are the rules of criminal proceedings relevant and when are they not? It seems like you use them for comparative purposes when it's convenient, but not when they're not.

I can't find a link to it at the moment, but a few weeks ago the lady and I were in Blacksburg and the bookstore on campus is selling a few shirts with the Lunch Pail and W.I.N. prominently displayed. I think its a reasonable bet they're moving towards using it more.
I think that price tag is significantly higher if Frank Beamer is not the head coach.
French, have you had a chance to look back at the line play from Searels time at Texas or GA to see if this is a historical tendency? A coaching "blind spot", of sorts?

# | Frank Beamer Hopes Virginia Tech's Next Head Coach "Would Come From Our Staff" "Don't know how anyone thinks this is a valid scenario". I can think of over 1 Million reasons why this could happen.
A small part of me dies whenever I hear someone refer to it as a LunchBox.
The wife says we ARE pulling the trigger for one of the 3 game packages. Now have to decide which one works with our schedule and the kids.
thanks :)
I believe the actual wording says conference championship is to be considered, not necessarily the CCG. I think the Texas conference screwed itself by naming co-champions. If the conference can't decide which one should go, how can the committee? Not saying winning a CCG does not help, as it is another marquee win, but is not what is supposed to be the other factor outside of who you played. Also, the committee has likely heard from a lot people pissed the Texas conference did not get in, and would/should give them preference in a toss up this year. A clear 1 loss champion would probably get in over most 1 loss teams that did not win the CCG from another conference if that loss did not come to playoff bound team.
Credit to my buddy Darryl for this one after the game. Love it.

I think you got the date wrong, it says July 6, 2014
I've wondered this as well.
Yeah, the alien baby surprised me a bit, too. But part of me always knew that Bud was a cybernetically enhanced extraterrestrial being, anyway.
Unless they start the first flask-refilling stations throughout the stadium. Let's make it happen, Whit.
Just trying to make our flasks obsolete eh?
The Demetri Knowles show takes center stage!
Wins and losses will make the final decision more likely, we win big in Frank's last years and it will probably be Bud. Lose and likely go elsewhere. Really not that hard to predict.
Just looking at those pics....

My seats were second to last row. Could see for miiiiiiles.
If we can get an offensive-minded head Head Coach and can keep Bud Foster at Defense Coordinator, that could be very dangerous.
I don't know how anyone thinks this is a valid scenario. If I were someone's apprentice for 20+ years, then that person left, and I was not given the job, no way in hell I'd stick around and do the same job for a different person.
EDIT: Foster almost took a lateral career move to TA&M this season. I don't think he's sticking around if he didn't love the staff here.
Easy. The ACCCG winner.
The CCGs are now the de facto first round of the playoffs. Which is a big part of the reason the Big XII-2 is starting to come apart at the seams.

Perhaps (although I'd argue that nothing at all in any of this is "dangerous"...). Nevertheless, by the same token, aren't you assuming they weren't?
