Yea I agree, I meant SEC teams when I said top 10-15 teams. Its kind of silly to think that the loser of the National Championship game could have 3 losses.

This is the same thought I Had. Doesn't have the physicality I like on film for a defensive player, but definitely has the measurables and frame to bulk up to potentially be a good TE.

Settle is probably realistically in between the 247 and rivals ranking IMO, keep in mind these places had the change to evaluate him even further at the all American game where he wasn't in the greatest shape. There are always going to be differences of opinion depending on what settings they personally see the kids in. Snelson's disparity in rankings seems to have something to do with his off-the-field issue.

He was placed in injured list then cut. He is off the Cowboys and probably got a small pay check for being injured.

Actually in his book, Frank admits that he had all but signed the papers while in Carolina, but decided to come back home and sleep on it. The next day he decided that he couldn't leave Tech and called them to let them know. That is the main reason that he was so understanding when Tech sent a plane to Georgia to pick up a OC a few years ago and that OC decided that he couldn't leave Georgia.

To be fair, it has been 2 years, and only two, or three of the offensive people left played before the staff change. You'd probably expect more seniors to at least be contributing if they had recruited well.

In fact, last year the majority of the offense was provided by people who hadn't played for our team in any previous season. That seems to be a legitimate reason to blame the previous regime.

Its kind of similar to our poor performance in basketball last year. It is reasonable to blame that on the way Seth Greenberg left. Yeah, it has been a while, but the timing of letting him gave us James Johnson, and you can't really expect Buzz to fix it in a year.

BCS? Maybe. But we have a playoff committee...where anything is possible. So who knows? 'Bama should never have been a one seed last year (which I said before the Sugar Bowl). That and putting FSU third really damaged the rep of the CFP committee for me.

Small Town Throwdown--Brantley Gilbert. Very blue-collar song, just like the Hokies: "'Round these parts ain't much to do, 'cept work like a dog till Friday (practice). Punch that clock, cash that check, raise a little hell till Sunday (Saturday is gameday)."

Best case scenario: Redskins pick him up, he subs in for an injured Alfred Morris against the Cowboys (and Morris' injury is just an ankle sprain or something small), and runs for 150 and 3 TDs.
