# | Virginia Tech Football Recruiting: 2016 WR Divine Deablo Commits to the Hokies And yet VT still barely got under the 85 man scholarship number after 2 guys went Juco and Mike Arnold is going to prep. So at what position is Tech overloaded?
14 or 15 sounds WAY too high, out of 85 total. Maybe 14 or 15 olineman, cause you play 5 at a time. I count 7 WR on scholarship not counting Charley Meyer because I don't know if he is or isn't on scholarship.
I don't know how everyone is coming to the conclusion that it's obvious he told them to do that. The cell records show the equipment guy was fucking pissed and borderline hated Brady first off. Over deflating the balls because of being ridden to keep them at lowest regulation PSI doesn't seem too farfetched.
Oh and how Brady barely called him for months and then after the accusations called the equipment guy frequently... Just use common sense, wouldn't you want to talk to the person who handled the equipment as to why it was out of regulation during a game and you're being accused of doing it on purpose?
There was so much misinformation and outright lies published and taken as the gospel immediately after the game. Hell, one of the gauges was reading artificially high before the game and they don't know which one was used for which team, let alone which balls.
I'm not a Patriots fan but what happened here seems more like it was a convenient way for the public to take their anger out on a team that consistently wins and they don't like and say "see they win because they cheat." The NFL then jumped on board because they had so much bad press that year and could win back some public opinion and show they can exert control.
Who cares?
A good bit of the hilarity was lost when the "dummy" jumped out too quickly.

welp. this doesn't give me a lot of confidence that our offense will progress much this year. It scares the heck out of me to think that our coaches are incapable of making adjustments of this nature
A South Florida kid visting Minnesota for the first time in October. That should go really well...
Good point. The idea would obviously be to catch these sorts of tendencies before an opposing defensive coach does and get out of them before this sort of thing happens in-game.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this type of film review part of Max Warner's new job? Hoefully he can spot these tendancies and address them with the coaches before they becoming something like this again. I'm not sure if he will be in the booth or able to review this stuff during the game though. Does anyone know?
Brady just told the NFLPA to file the suit http://www.sbnation.com/2015/7/28/9060673/tom-brady-suspension-appeal-fe...
Thank you. I just remember my dad having 3 different area codes in a 7 year span.
He seems like a perfect fit for Hokies. Come on down, Brock!
The only film on him is his Sophomore year highlights. They will update correctly if the Junior film is released and as he plays his Senior year.
Have you been to Nye's Polaniase?
You must visit before they close down now scheduled for Jan 2016.

# | Frank Beamer Hopes Virginia Tech's Next Head Coach "Would Come From Our Staff" Lots of rumors of adult beverage indiscretions, even when I was a student back in the late '90's, but nothing that ever made the news though which is why it remains in the rumor mill...
No, it's more like if you commit armed robbery but surrender peacefully, you get a $1,000 fine and 4 weeks in jail. Or if you get caught 67 mph in a 55 mph, but proclaim your innocence and challenge the accuracy of the radar gun, you get $1,000 fine and 4 weeks in jail.
but he's 327 in nation per 247.. wtf? how can ESPN and 247 be that far apart?

And it's incredibly likely he will lose and lose badly

Legal precedent had been set that you cannot and must not destroy evidence if you suspect a case will go to trial, even in situations when you are currently dealing with an entity that does not have subpoena power. The fact he did is damning and will likely be the biggest reason this case likely gets thrown out at best.
Even worse it sounds like he acted on the advice of his lawyers to do this and if the courts fund this to be the case they will likely be disbarred.
