Having lived that fourth quarter live and in person, I will just say that the end of that game was an example of a team that just would not be denied. It hurt, then and now, but it should be a motivator for us. Sometimes, it takes an extraordinary team and coaching effort to seal the deal. Our deal got sealed that night, and a significant portion of our fans who went to the game got the flu to boot. I mean the REAL flu. I'll never get over it. Don't get me started on the Civil War.

So awesome. History major here, and I happen to be reading Shelby Foote's, "Civil War, a Narrative" during the day, and Ken Burn's, "Civil War" on Netflix at night for a second soaking to get the facts into this old brain.

Not saying who I favor in this one, but I WILL say that I am done after Pickett's charge. Nothing more to see here!

I suppose that is a bit like those that won't watch past the end of the third quarter in our national title game with FSU.

Get an RV parking pass, bring a tent.
#sauces have done. By bud also has an rv, but i camp beside him. There are a few others that do it from time to time

Nice, never had any steamed crabs, and I'm also underage, so can't have any beer. Welp. The cons of being a teenager, lol. I'll have to make my way to the Chesapeake someday and try my hand at it, see how I fare down there.

As a recruiter, there is nothing more frustrating than this ^. I have people from UMUC (online school) put University of Maryland Univeristy College - College Park. There has to be a better system... maybe tUMDCP??

I know that a lot of townies rent out their basements or entire houses for game weekends, but I'm not sure what websites they use beyond airbnb

But seriously, I am staying in Salem and booked months ago.

My brother is Fairborn, all the rest were City of Dayton. You got some of the up and coming years, Dayton was falling fast from 2000-2010. Trotwood is meh, Miamisburg is a nice blue collar town.

I grew up in Dayton, I could probably give you food recommendations. I know several firefighters up there. My brother is one now, a longtime family friend is now a Captain, and my high school friends dad was Chief around 2002-2005 I think.

We didn't travel well to the Sugar Bowl against Meatchicken in 2011, but a few UM fans came up to me after the game and said they had to consider VT differently after that game and would not underestimate us next time we played. Lane is a home field advantage for sure. People forget that it is the highest elevation stadium on the East Coast. We get a mini mile-high effect.

I always stay in Roanoke. It is a pain after the game but the rates are good and there isn't a two night minimum.
