Roanoke is good, Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Salem, and Radford fill up fast.

"We know what we're up against, they're a really good team, the defending national champs for a reason, they're a lot better than when we played them last year," Brewer said. "But we're a lot better than we played them, so we're excited about it. We feel like we've got a defense that can keep us in any game that we play. So long as we protect the football and make plays when they present themselves, we feel like we've got a chance against anybody."

I would check AirBnb and see what you can find around the area. To my knowledge most every hotel is full up

As proud native son of Ohio I can say I just moved back to Cincinnati and love it. Trust me, if SC didn't have beaches and good weather Ohioans would never cross the Ohio river. The god awful slow pace of everything in the south is irritating. It should not take 15 minutes to get food at Hardees people and the speed limit is 5 mph slower than you should drive. I will stop myself before I rant for ever. I lived in a southern state for 5 years before this and the people and culture drove me to leave a job I liked. Just give us the weather and the ocean and we will happily never cross the river again

I am a long time experienced music fan and musician of absolutely no consequence whatsoever, but if Brad Paisley is playing, I'd say go. The guy is quirky country, yeah, a bit pop, but ya gotta appeal to make a living in the music biz. Paisley is an exceptional guitar player, worth the price of admission to experience his axe talent, if nothing else. He's also funny, a cool dude I'd love to have a beer with. I don't do country music, per se, outside of the Americana style roots and such, but Brad is intriguing. Like I said, if you've ever wanted to play, or love to hear, world class guitar playing, give him a try and get back with me and tell me what you think. Add to that that he seems to like fishing...well, what's not to like?

Definitely blown way out of proportion. Colin is my favorite radio personality even though he makes it far too political. He didn't listen to or accept BS. And he rightfully shutdown a disrespectful Harbaugh. I'm gonna miss the Herd.

Considering that we weren't even on his radar, and 247 didn't have us listed in any predictions, I'd say we made a very strong impression late in the process and I hope he comes here again and commits to VT!

I bet it was. I'm eatin' steamed Chesapeake Bay crabs tonight. Fresh from the mouth of the East River on Mobjack Bay. Caught this morning, butter, hushpuppies. And beer. Lots of beer. Wife's outta town kinda beer.

On a tangent I was very proud to see that NJ snagged a top 5 spot in states most likely to curse at you. That is some tough competition and I am proud of the anger and casual displeasure my fellow Garden Staters displayed there.

Agreed Ive seen some of the highlight films on YouTube. they obviously WANT to be out there and are not afraid at all to collide quickly and with bad intentions, even without as many pads as the guys. There is a lot to grow and build on there.

And hell looking back the early men's football uniforms would be thought antiquated and stupid today so maybe it isn't that different.
