I refuse to gauge my love for the Buckeyes by how much I am willing to pay for a ticket. It would take me at least 6-6 1/2 hours to drive to Blacksburg - and then the drive back. In the meantime, I can sit in my air conditioned LR, in my easy chair, eating and drinking affordable delicacies, and watch the game in HD. I doubt I'm in Blacksburg on Labor Day. :)

Yep. Bass finishing is the hardest sport because you can not see your competition during the game.

The one thing I hate about college football. People get sooooooo hung up on the past. In every other sport people understand that past seasons have no effect on the new season. But in college football, things that happen 5 years ago are talked about as if it matters this year. Then everyone acts shocked when a team full of 19-20 year olds is better than last year.
Subjective racism, right. Seeing the situation for what it is and understanding the difference between a busload of white people singing about hanging niggers vs one black kid calling a white kid "nigga" is not subjective racism.
It's really sad that educated (I'm guessing?) people like you see those situations as the same and think black people's usage of "nigga" is justification for white people hatefully calling black people "niggers." Really really sad.
