HokieHaven says Beckett
He's tiny, but he's got arguably the best hands on the team and he's pretty quick. Wouldn't surprise me if he saw the field some this year.
Happy Birthday
So the lesson learned here is: Playing with Jugs is ALWAYS fun
Someone from the 757 committed.
757 belongs to Virginia Tech today! #BeamerBBQ #Sandman16 pic.twitter.com/scfiuV9xKQ— Thomas Guerry (@thomasguerry) July 25, 2015
They jumped the gun and didn't let the kid have his time, not a big fan of that.
Outstanding! Hokie Haven is reporting Beckett also committed.
You know...as stronger as we are in CS and Eng, you would think we have someone on the inside at Apple to get a turkey or HOKIE bird or somethInc in their emoji list.
And he didn't use the chicken emoji!
More coming!
Clearly our next Tight End prospect. The size, speed, versatility... much good. I can see it now: QB/WR/S/Corner turned TE hauling in deep TD passes in Lane. But seriously, this kid really has had a well-rounded playing career so far. Great addition.
Edit: I'm a moron. Didn't you know he was graduating a year early?
Fricking A right! Just what we needed! A big body for the OL. This guy looks like he could carry 300 lbs easily without losing agility. A few more of these road graders and the run game will be spitting out 1000 yd rushers again in no time.
They televise our games, so until there's an ACC network on my cable, I support them.
with Kearns committed, we need Dickerson next!
welcome to Hokie Nation, Patrick!
That being said, the cost of people saying stupid things has gone up immensely; before you could say stupid things, get burnt/embarrassed, and then move on with your life-- hopefully a little smarter/wiser for it. Now, it costs people their livelihoods, health, family, friends, etc.
Hulk Hogan agrees, brother.
Nice - looks like he was the only OL in the group visiting this weekend.....
Searels pulling in big boys!! Love it
Excellent news.
I'm almost more impressed with the one-handed snag than the back-flips. Could Carroll be the next Willie Byrn in the slot?
First, I'll say that I can understand how this could definitely be taken as offensive (not as offensive as half the stuff Trump says, but to stick within the community guidelines, let's let that be). But the current situation of him being between contracts makes it more plausible than not that this was just a convenient PR move for ESPN (which Cowherd essentially handed to them on a platter).

Now, it costs people their livelihoods, health, family, friends, etc. The shitstorms of social media has created this the new form of mob justice and shaming, which isn't justice at all. Highly recommend Jon Ronson's "So You've Been Publicly Shamed," which really opened my eyes to the huge issue that Cowherd's situation is only slightly emblematic of. (Its also on Audible, which, if youre like me and have no time/focus to spare on actually reading, is a great way to actually still learn new things, too). Hope this isn't/wasn't too political.
Welcome to Hokie Nation! Now let's get him into West End
Well, when a player from UNC gets arrested, at least you know it won't be for something like stealing books.
I get the feeling he will be the first of several to commit this weekend. Welcome to Hokie Nation Patrick.
Kearns just committed per 247.

They jumped the gun there. Other outlets are letting him tell other schools and family first.
