Until proven otherwise, JC should be the starter in the first game. He showed the last four games that he could be due for a big season this year.

In Virginia (can't speak to other states) you are signing the ticket to agree to come to court or pay the ticket, refusing to sign said ticket AND ripping it up or doing something else like rolling up your window is resisting arrest. Just refusing to sign it COULD result in your arrest because you are basically saying "I don't intent to appear in court or pay this ticket". A ticket is option in lieu of arrest, you can be arrested for anything you are given a ticket for technically.

Tried to find a gif of him dragging and pushing UVA players in last years game but can't find it.....oh well....hopefully we have more of that. Glad to see he finally broke out. If trey returns to form and McMillian plays anywhere near what his potential in the spring game looked like we should have an awesome starting 3 and be able to let Shai and Juice redshirt and get a full year of recovery on their ACLs.

I placed my marker just a tad off - how do I correct that?

Hopefully we land some good commits this weekend. Not too worried about the guys a year or more out (class of 17, 18). It's nice for those guys to commit but there is soooo much time for them that I don't consider them hard commits. Kudos to those that do commit that early and stick to it.

A question as to our DE depth. I know it's shallow this year, but don't we have a lot of players coming in this class that were DE recruits?? Some three and a couple 4 stars?? I know we missed on Sweat but I thought we pulled a lot of others. How is our DE depth (not counting that some may not pan out) looking going forward? Is it a real place of need still or is it ok? As for how much it seemed to be I am surprised that we would struggle to pull decently talented players at that position especially with our sack numbers and having Wiles and Foster as your coach.

If you had said "back in my day it was 703" you would have sewn up the Old Guy Award for sure.

My god! Things have gotten way out of control here. I guess this is the downside of social media. It is much easier for the mob to form. I can't believe how sensitive people have become. You can't even state an opinion about something without fear of hurting someone's feelings and losing your job.

I would have been at the Nuclear school the same time as you, I was scheduled to be there at that time

My thoughts exactly. Reading the whole part of his comments I didn't see anywhere where he said something actually denigrating. He just stated some facts. He even stated that he wasn't talking about all Dominicans and whatnot. Anyhow, someone gets offended and you get fired now a days. It's all about being PC and making sure no one has their feelings hurt (unless your not in a protected class, but that's another argument).

Wasn't there something the other day that was talking about Cowherd leaving for Fox anyways?? Sour grapes from ESPN maybe?? "You can't quit. You're fired." They just found the reason to fire him.

People think "offensive" comments are some sort of crime but in reality the small but vocal "offended" are really the problem. It is FACT that the DR has sub-standard education. There is a charity, which I had my company participate in to fund education for children in the DR, which is dollar for dollar(raised over $17k). So, I guess they don't need the money anymore because their education system is soo damn great. Ugh...I know I'm not the only one tired of this crap

Holy guacamole! He front squatted 440 a couple years ago, and I thought that was insane! My birthday is now officially off to a great start.

Yeah, it was a blast, they were reading in doubles, we'd take the fish off, re air if needed, cast, hand the rod of and then turn around and take the fish of the other rod.

They were really too small, you could barely feel them on these little whippy rods.
They were maybe 5-6 inches long.

We quit when we ran through 2 whole squid and were out of bait.
That was good because the girls were getting tired.

French, sounds like you and I are both jinxed this year. I lost what we're pretty convinced was my bucket list flounder today over near The Cell. Caught several sandbar sharks up to about three feet and a couple of keeper flounder, but as it so often is, it is the one that came unbuttoned right at the boat that I'll remember. Oh well, I'll try again today.

Nothing to keep, but you have just described the classic way to get a child interested in fishing. Short outing and plenty of action. I might have kept a handful of the biggest ones anyway, just to fry them up for an appetizer or something for the girls to get the full magilla, but it sounds like you had a great time.

It's appropriate for this thread.
