Let's be honest. Tyrod was better than Flacco in every single preseason game they both played in. Flacco was only the starter because they gave him a silly contract.

That analysis isn't wrong. Our offense has been horrible. What would our record have been if we had even an average offense?

I guess Adidas doesn't have any money left after signing the deal with Man U for $128million a year. And they lost Notre Dame last year to UA.

Leg for you, I had those in every color since I was a soccer player growing up

Canaan Severin, WR, Virginia

David Dean, DT, Virginia

...so one of them is a baseball player (WR) and the other is a wrestler (DT)...

You know because they cant have football players if they have no football fans.

I heard a big factor in this case was Nike trademarking "maize"...from michigandaily.com

Nike also copyrighted the color "Maize," so Adidas actually had to make a new version of our school color, now known as "Sun" (which the volleyball team has affectionately dubbed the "highlighter" jerseys). While the switch has become progressively easier throughout the past two years, it's come with growing pains

Speaking of classics... my whole childhood consisted of these (um)BROS

My question is why aren't our people trying to become the banner school for an Adidas type company? Hell, if UMD can carry the banner for Under Armor, why can't we for Adidas? I mean I know the founder isn't an alum, but still.

No one said we would. But if the going rate for a blue blood program is 15 mil, I don't see why we wouldn't be able to get to 5 or so, which is more than triple our current rate

Nope, it was an indicator. I always thought Bush was a soft player who benefited greatly from playing on a team with far superior talent. His NFL career has supported that theory. I just didn't enjoy him.

Now, a couple of my guys didn't have a great NFL career because of injuries (KiJanna Carter, Cadillac Williams.)

VT wil never see that kind of money, Mich has everything going for it in terms selling apperal: Huge alumni base, huge state fan base, brand identity, history, cold weather climate (more layers to sell), VT can't match that.
