What I think will change is some of the fine tuning that won't really get installed until game week. If we lose I don't see Foster saying anything to affect that he wasn't ready for (x) QB.

Heavy pressure to disrupt timing in the passing game, take away the quick routes, and in a similar fashion to GT, force the QB to keep the ball on the option, and make him pay for it. If Braxton lines up at any other position than QB, it will be mainly as a decoy. No doubt he is talented and could take it to the house with the ball in his hands, but a guy who has played QB his entire career and missed a full season is likely not going to suddenly become an unstoppable WR/RB in one offseason. He will have a very limited role if he is not the starting QB.
I really really wouldn't say we dominated on offense. We came up big on some 3rd downs. Domination means you don't need a third down.

I think Miller is the most talented of the bunch and Barrett is the best true quarterback. From what I recall Miller was very inaccurate at times and Cardale Jones was easily the worst at reading defenses. Jones was essentially just asked not to lose the game for them and to take deep shots. I don't know that his deep ball accuracy was any better than the others.
Personally, I would rather see Cardale Jones. He honestly struggled some against Bama and I think his running abilities are somewhat overrated- he's much less of a threat in the read option game compared to the other two.

He has a cannon arm, accurate deep ball, and is not afraid to tuck in run. We have to hit him early, often, and with bad intention. It is the only way to disrupt the timing.
Whiskey has gotten the better of me a couple of time in my past, it was good whiskey though.... I think.
Yeah, the issue was on KO returns, which was mainly Knowles and someone else.
Our problem with punt returns is that they always fell out of bounds at the 5 yard line.
I'm not one for arguing, but I'm pretty sure Stroman is not the guy that should be criticized for not downing kickoffs n the endzone. I'm pumped about his punt return potential, so I take interest in posts about that.

Looks like he only had one KO return for 18 yards. Not sterling, but not the issue, given one try, IMO.
Crap I was hoping for a bunch of injuries so that he would have to play then Dadi, Ken and (pick one) could show him what a real hit felt like in the championship game.

I just watched the "condensed version" (and whoever put that beauty together, TYVM) last night on my Roku/Youtube on my big ol' flatscreen. I also dipped into a bit of some Nebraska/VT game nirvana, for a nightcap.
Maybe it was the beer, maybe it was the games, deliciously glazed in all of their glorious-ness, but oddly, I didn't lose the slightest bit of enthusiasm from the first time I saw them.
Ahhh...maybe tonight I'll search for Hokie victories over ATM, LSU, or Tennessee.

Agre with your analysis . He is holding her arm which is assault and i see no knee to the groin. There are very FEW times when battery of a woman is warranted. And this is "NOT" one of them.

# | Bitter blog - Countdown to the ACC Kickoff, No. 15: Two reliable RBs, plus some Sunday links I just got really excited about Travon McMillian. I feel that this kid has potential. Granted, I'm just looking at his athletic attributes, but I'm hoping he is a smart player, too. For example, he's 6' 0", considerably taller than Coleman, who is at 5"7'. He's only 4 pounds heavier than Coleman, meaning he is 194 lbs. From those two alone, it sounds like he must be pretty quick. When it comes to his weightlifting, he squats a hefty 400 lbs! Though not as much as Coleman, that's still a big number for a redshirt freshman. McMillian has time to improve and this sounds like a good foundation for his first year on the field. Though this may not be his year, I think it's worth getting excited for the future. Let's just hope he doesn't follow the injuries all of our RBs have been known for quite recently.
Has there been any new names added to our attrition that anyone knows of? Seems we are still over in numbers.
