People went nuts when Kit Harrington was at Wimbledon sporting his longer Jon Snow hair cut, pointing to that as proof he is still filming.

I am squarely in the camp that Jon Snow is not gone, one way or the other. Not just from the point of view of hints that have been dropped (both by the showrunners and in the actual course of the story as well), but also for all the time and character development Jon Snow as a character in the story has had, to simply kill him off would be downright dreadful storytelling.

GoT is known for killing people off. But if you really think about it, name one other "major" character that has been offed before their full purpose has been realized.

man I bet he's glad he chose Duke over UNC. When you have to rely on the quality of your degree for your future, a pretend one in afro-american studies just aint gonna cut it...

I don't doubt that Mark Warner and John Casteen had a lot to do with it, but that doesn't diminish the fact that Virginia Tech was well positioned both financially and in regards to facilities and athletic programs to get into the ACC. Weaver was athletic director during the most successful years of VT athletics. He was the athletic director when Virginia Tech joined the Big East as a full member, when Beamer considered leaving for UNC and decided not to, and when Virginia Tech joined the ACC.

The facilities look great, some great coaches were hired/retained, the programs are in good financial shape, and Virginia Tech has done well in the ACC. Certainly there were things people disagreed with, myself included, but this isn't the right time or thread for that.

I would prefer it linked rather than embedded, per the standards in the Community Guidelines. I'm not trying to be hyper-vigilant about stuff like this (and I actually chuckled when I saw it), but it's not something I want my boss seeing if he were to pass by. Apply the same standard, in general. I agree that it's not the worst thing to have posted, but its intent is clear (and I do recall Bender posting the same image and igniting a flame war about it, so let's just side-step that issue altogether).

I mean, it's not explicitly explicit, just a bit off-color. If you want it blurred or removed just say the word, but given the fact that there's plenty of borderline stuff that is allowed to slide, I didn't see a problem with it.
