I was at that game, and while our STs had their problems, we were playing a talented team that night. What lost the game for us, in my opinion, was the fourth quarter Winky and Pete show. They just went out and did us in after we'd gone into the fourth with the lead.

That is why Louisville got an exemption from the academic standpoint. The school would have to have athletic teams that would be immediately competing for ACC championships in order for the ACC to consider adding them and I just don't think that is the case with those two.

Yep, I think this is the wrinkle.
Line up Ford on Bucky's side and you have so many things can be done.
And then with Malleck in the mix....I've got to think that Loeffler is not only sleeping better this preseason, he's actually having some sweet dreams.
I think because UGA had a better receiving corp is why his numbers are lower, but he is a game changer for sure. I do agree I like what Ford brings to the table.
True but he didn't have close the year I Ford had. Plus I think Ford brings much better team chemistry and character.
He'd probably be on Cam Philips who isn't a deep threat but is a good route runner and has good hands. I think he's kind of sneaky fast but not a burner.
Edit: If they really want to test him expect to see Bucky lined up on his side.

Should be an interesting matchup. Apple is very good at CB and it remains to be seen who will start opposite him. It looks like Conley, and of it is I suspect Beamer will test him since he gave up a deep ball at MSU last year. I suspect Apple will cover your best receiver so if it is Ford who will line up against Conley and is he a deep threat?

One of the best neutral site games I attended next to 2004 usc. If we had Darren Evans for BaMa I still think we could saved our defense and wore them down more. RW was good but young.

True, but If you got rid of 3 of the cup cake games and kept one good out of conference rivals you could minimize that problem. The real problem is you'd probably wind up with 4 strong conferences in the ACC B1G P12 and SEC and 4 mid to poor conferences so most years you'd really have a Power 4 playoff with the first game, barring an upset, a gimme. In addition, you'd probably see most of the revenue flow to the P4 conferences, making it even harder for the others to maintain competitive teams.
Mckenzie did have a punt return and kick return against Kentucky. He would have been a better comparison to eddie royal
