All I ever need
Sounds like double dipping to me.
Two best teams in the tourney right there. Huge win for the U.S. And a quality win at that. Good pick of formation and excellent play. Guessing Japan in the finals!
So what's our record when not playing football? I mean not playing in a football stadium?
I mean at least 11 straight, right?
Double post
That was one hell of a good game. Great open play with plenty of chances at both ends. The ninja kick to seal the deal was awesome.
Totally agree. I'm not a huge soccer fan but my girlfriend is (she used to coach HS soccer). I've been telling her for a while that I like watching the women a lot more than the men because they actually play the game tough instead of flopping and crying all the time.
Right, usually the best team survives. No way VT has that streak if they were in any other conference besides the Big Least. but you can go keep beating your chest to other rivals/fans that we had that streak, I do not, that just me. I care more about things that matter.
In Frank speak...lack of want-to?
Deserved win, not to say germany didn't play well but we deserved that win. Alex Morgan was dangerous all day and if we get that finishing touch back LOOK OUT! Regardless I'm excited to have an excuse to get pumped for soccer again. The finals are so much more fun that a consolation game and the team has really notched it up these last two games
It just screams IDonWannaBeHere.

Just kidding really - I work with some soccer folks and my neighbor and his daughter (a d1 player) took off yesterday for Canada driving from Richmond. Father/Daughter 1200 mile road trip- How cool is that!
I'm fine with girls playing bit Really,,,,,,it's kick ball!
GGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLL
How in the world do you miss the net on a penalty kick!?! Go USA!!!
Is it just me or have the women seemed a lot tougher than the men last year? I mean overall, not specifically the US.
Game is a lot more physical than I thought the international refs would let it be.
I'm not all that knowledgeable but we're dominating this game everywhere but the scoreboard. Need to get one to the back of the net or we can lose on a fluke.
That Western Carolina dude's hand is still stuck to Sam's shoulder. . . poor guy.
Beat up on each other yet every year 2-4 teams were leaving the "best conference" with 1 or no losses. It takes a lot to go more than a year or two with ten or more wins.
Good call.
He was all over that highlight mash.
Diamonds in the rough.
Our 10-win streak shouldn't be taken lightly. It's not easy to be that consistently good anywhere. But, take a look at where the rest of the ACC is headed now. FSU and Clemson have finally gotten their acts together, Louisville with their recent success have entered the conference, Duke is finally starting to becoming a decent football program, and Georgia Tech just beat the brakes off MSU in the Orange Bowl. This is not the ACC of 2006-2011 any longer. The conference is largely on the rise.
I did not even notice how spell check changed it. I forgot it was the first word in the sentence so the capitalization wouldn't stop spellcheck.
I think a little peer pressure might not be a bad thing.
