The scary thing (for the rest of the ACC, that is) is that we are assembling the talent to not just simply be mediocre on offense, but to have a legitimately good all around offense by any standard. If that truly does come together and we can pair it with the usual Bud Foster defense, you're going to see a full bore Virginia Tech squad primed to wreck shit in this conference.

I remember us scoring in that game to go up 24-20, but when I saw how much time was left, I knew it was too much and knowing our neutral field luck, I knew we were going to lose. Made the loss hurt a little less I guess.

Thoughts on this episode:

1. Car banter was better last season, but they should keep trying.
2. Is that Rick fucking Springfield? THAT'S RICK FUCKING SPRINGFIELD!
3. Nick Pizzolatto clearly loves trolling feminists.
4. CACAW MOTHERFUCKER!

In my opinion, worst play was getting burned by FSU player in the 2010 ACCCG. He was a frosh, subbing in for Rock Carmichael. Brutal, brutal bite on a standard double move.

It all turned out OK, of course.

I like your style. My biggest claim to fame was on the old front 9 on campus back in the early 2000s. I can't remember the hole but it ran parallel to Prices Fork. I'm a lefty and had a wicked slice off the tee and I cleared Prices Fork and watched the ball bounce around in what is now the Holiday Inn's parking lot without hitting any cars. I miss that course.

Agreed that all we need is a mediocre offense. We could've had it last year if we weren't down to our 3rd string RB and had all those injuries. I think we'll do better than mediocre this year.

I agree. ACCCG should be our mark this year. If we don't reach it it will be disappointing. MAYBE!!!!.....a tough last second loss to the team that goes on to play in it but it's not like we're facing clemson or FSU or someone who I feel I can argue is a decent enough team. I can't stand GT so losing to them won't do, neither will losing to Pitt or UNC....which are the only teams that I see being able to give us any trouble but we SHOULD handle them IMO.

Dinitch was on the panel, of course we didn't make the list.

Edit: spellcheck won't let me spell her name. Maybe that's why everybody just calls her, "The Neck".

I didn't know E&H was suggested/free.

That's what it says on their website:

"Lynch Links is available for use by students, faculty and staff at no cost, as well as the public for a suggested nominal fee."

Where did you and your dad play?

My dad's a member at Greenway Creek between Chilhowie and Glade Spring. Now that he's retired he usually plays at least a couple times a week.

I mean, all Duke gets is a blue dot. And all PSU gets is a cat plus a white dot and a blue dot... Could be worse.

I believe that was the decision that was made on the play. Full possession was not had until he was in the endzone, in which case, the ball would be spotted at the place in which he has full possession and is down.

After shooting an 86, on 9 holes of par 3

I feel better about being 18 strokes behind my dad on 9 holes last week, but I also frequently took advantage of the Triple Bogey max we were using in our scoring.

I also always end with more balls than I started with, no matter how often I het water.

Pulling a Happy Gilmore and diving into the water to find your ball?
