My biggest cheer of the NFL draft was hearing his name get called. Not going to miss playing against that guy. He should do well.
Not that I want to be that guy, but of the teams we've played out of that lineup, we're 0-2.
2020: Penn State, @ Michigan, Liberty, ECU with @ Louisville as our Atlantic crossover
2021: Richmond, Michigan, @ WVU, ND, with Syracuse as our Atlantic crossover
Our next two games with FSU are there in 2018 (to go along with W&M, ECU, @ODU, and Notre Dame) and here in 2023 (with ODU, Purdue, @Rutgers, and @ECU)

Ugh. I wonder how many games since 2012 have we lost in the last 3 minutes. It seems like it's almost every one.
I wonder how many of the chest-thumping "play the 4 toughest OOC games possible" advocates are also the first to line up with pitch forks when VT goes 4-8?

VT has rarely had that, and I can see Beamer's point. But isn't punt returning like 10 yards of the quickness/start-stop then you need to have similar open field skills?
I thought Beamer liked guys who could take a hit on KO returns, and Stroman may be a bit too light to take a big hit. Big hits seemed to steal Knowles' confidence. It's telling he's dropped from 28 ypr to 18 ypr.
Got one of the smaller rings but was thinking about going back to get the larger more detailed rings. Anyone able to describe the size comparison between the 22DWT to the 40DWT and corresponding sizes in between?
For VT:
+16 vs. OSU
-9 vs. Pitt
+6 at Miami (Now +4)
+9.5 at GT (Now +7.5)
-4 at UVA
Put me down for a bajillion dollars on VT +7.5 at GT :) and another bajillion on Pitt -9 at VT :(
Don't tell that to the majority of 11W. They are pretty convinced that they will be playing at post season form and roll us. There are a few that keep challenging that though. They all seem pretty convinced that their D is going to shut us down which I don't see. Loeffler has a whole off-season to scheme which is probably his biggest strength. I still think a 3TE hurry up package is going to be used and create mis-matches and confusion.
I have been at every game at FedEx field the Hokies have played there since the record crowd setting USC game. After the Cinncinati meltdown, I have vowed to never set foot in that stadium again. There experience not only has been ridicuously expensive, they have been been extremely hearatbreaking too. Besides, I hate Daniel Snyder.
That play just reminds me at how pissed off I was that Sherman wasn't playing Fuller more and instead kept focusing on the mythical breakout game Marcus "DGAF" Davis was "bound" to have happen.
Love this idea. It's time to just let the SII chant go. Sure it sucks, but move on. Let the students be involved, and come up with something even better!
Really glad i dont remember this game
I don't see where the optimism for Miami is coming from. Kayaa looked good last year, sure, but that team was built around the offensive line and they lost 4 starters (may be off on the number, but something close to that). Not to mention Duke Johnson leaving. I don't see how they improve from last year, and that was only a 6 win team.
I'd be shocked if they could beat us, push Nebraska, and keep it close with Clemson.

No, our decline had begun two weeks prior with Pitt. We just didn't realize it at the time.
The worst part was that this game was the first one after my son was born. And then we had UNC the next week...And then Duke went up by 20 the week after that. If he hadn't spit up on me requiring me to change my shirt, we probably would have lost that one too. I realized then that I had been wearing the wrong color shirt for most of the games that season.
Nebraska?
First play was probably the 2nd worst play of Kyle Fuller's career. 2nd play was probably Logan's 2nd best pass as a Hokie. That game was also Michael Holmes' best game in his short Tech career.
That was a weird game.
The lack of Tyrod Taylor on this list is very interesting. I mean, I am guessing that won't last but its still kinda crazy

All I want in a kick returner is someone who has the ability to tell if he can get to the 25 yard line or not from the end zone.
