Agree unfortunately. I would also expect other teams to poach Wenzel and Baker if they haven't started already.
She had a lot of potential in her frame but was not ready for college minutes yet... She also seemed very excited about vt whoch was nice
If you look at the wins, he had a good game against auburn which was a 3point game so you could argue without him they lose, but mizzou they blew out and didnt need him. A&M is more questionable because of how close it was but he only had 5 points and like 6 rebounds 1 for 2 shooting, amd 3 for 7 from FT, you could argue they'd still win that game without him. So really 1 game he made a difference to a mid level SEC team. What's the point of going after games.
Don't have a public naming poll and expect [Object] Mc[Object]face to not win
Not here anymore. Myah Hazelton.
She transferred to Rice but has not played a significant role. 23 games, getting 8.6mpg, Averaging 2.4 ppg. Rice has two senior Forwards though so that may change next season.
I think Duffy is an exceptional coach. I would even go so far as to say she exceeds Brooks as a coach and a culture builder. She has nothing to work with as far as NIL. We are really hamstrung as a program in the resource department which is a shame. The pool of high end talent is so small in women's basketball that unless we can find a couple million in NIL annually, we can't be a top 25 program.
He enrolled before Spring semester started. The case was first brought to NCAA for eligibility determination the first week of January. After it was denied by NCAA it then became a court case.
Nate Oats stated Bediako is in scholarship and will remain so even though he is ineligible to play. I doubt that will extend to next year if he has not graduated by then.
Alabama was treated as a third party in the case so unfortunately the original TRO protects them. They would be considered acting in good faith. NCAA President has already stated thry will not seek to reverse the results of the three wins he participated in.
I know it doesn't matter, but I would be curious as to how he just got added to classes mid semester and was he attending them. Or does it even matter at this point. I guess the question is, are NCAA athletes even required to go to class?
I wonder if the second judge can rule that the Bama blameless factor in the TRO was invalid as Bama had to know that his eligibility was up. That said, was he enrolled? Did they allocate a scholarship or was he a "walk on?"
Wasn't there a Kenny Brooks recruit that stayed committed when we got Duffy? I can't remember her name, but I seem to recall everyone being really excited that she was staying. Is she not with the team anymore?
HA! Yeah, there was a little remembrance thing tickling the back of my brain.
Sorry for hijacking, but if you've watched any of the mixed doubles curling, Cory Dropkin sounds a lot like Shoresy when barking directions while sweeping. I keep waiting for big sexy to chime in.
It took me far too long to realize this wasn't about Instant Pot cooking times, and I'm not sure it isn't.
The old Robert E Lee High School in Fairfax County, now John R. Lewis High School, Swim & Dive team had "LSD" on all their shirts. I'm guessing since it's still L High School they're keeping that tradition. They kept their logo and mascot through the name change.
Its not as much Daley has regressed as it is Suffren surged and Duffy isn't giving Daley minutes. She is offensively more efficient than Nelson by a wide margin. Also has alot to do with Duffy playing Wenzel and Baker over 31 mpg. Only so many spots to rotate if you have two starters that rarely leave the floor.
Same story for Swanson. Her minutes are limited but she is scoring 15.4 pts/40 minutes.
Daley has the 5th highest offensive rating on the team and 3rd highest defensive rating if you exclude Brecelj, who never plays. All that but Duffy is limiting her to 7th most minutes at 16.8mpg in ACC play.
Late response here. Offensively, Mike's teams typically rank below average to average in O-rebounding. That's probably Mike not wanting to get out-"athleted" in transition. So your presumption is correct.
Defensively, I'm not adept at explaining the specifics, but when bigs are able to box out it allows the guards to use their athleticism to reach for boards (in other words, a guy like Gurdak is not going to win many 1v1 battles on the glass, so he needs to focus on boxing out his man in such a way that it allows the guards to get the ball).
A couple years ago Sean Pedulla led ACC guards in D-reb percentage. The years before that Cattoor was up there. Guys like Aluma, Beran, and Poteat especially never put up big rebounding numbers relative to their position group. Lawal and Kidd were up there just because they're more athletic. Problem is this year's guards just haven't been willing or able enough.
Frankly I dont care if they beat Texas for all three wins. If they are that good, they can move back up when they win. I hate poll fallacy where voters weight their preseason votes so heavily they refuse to adjust early on when losses happen.
Issue is that the portal class with the exception of an occasional good game by Freelon was a absolute bust. Daley has disappeared, Swanson doesn't play, even Peterson has regressed.
I think I watched it everyday for almost 2 years straight it seemed. I was also in karate at the time so that probably added to it.
This S4!1 figures.
Team should wear this as a badge of honor and go kick some more A$$!
Because of the TRO he could play in the games and Bama can't be forced to forfeit. It is unclear if the committee could keep them out of the tourney as an at large, but I think Bama would have to show proof and intent which would be hard to do.
I'm going out on a limb and saying ...

Does this make the games he played forfeit losses and will it do anything to Bama?
Round these parts we call that pulling a Jerry Jones

Oh man, I can hear it
"SWEEEEEP!"
"titfucker! *whistle*"
