Same, I refused to turn it on at all - just watched the gamecast. Figured if we were playing well without me watching, then why jinx it!
The wife and I went to the game at Purdue back in like 2014 or something and the stadium was maybe 60% full with half of that Hokies. We took the opportunity to sneak down to some open seats 3rd row behind the Hokies bench and there were two things I remember from that game. 1. Tremaine Edmunds as a freshman looked like an NFLer, could tell he was going to be a stud. 2. Wes Worsham had the right to do what he pleased. He saw some young fan in the stands, walked over to the equipment table, grabbed some gloves and handed them to the kid in the stands. Didn't ask anyone if it was ok, might have taken them out of a helmet, probably just put it on his tab. Legend.

I still spiked a remote into the couch cushion every time someone closed out or bit on the fake from their big outside the arc. The guy was 0-5, they should have been sitting on his chance to drive and giving him 6 ft of space to shoot it.
FAM also continues a bad league trend that maybe should be addressed by not adding California teams to our conference.
13 ACC teams that have traveled to face Stanford and Cal the past two years are just 4-9 in their first game back. And all 13 have been home games

I've found I'm much more pleasant to be around when we win.
It really is his fault for having the out-of-body experience in his first game. He's supposed to grow into that, not start with it :)
The Hokies must be offensively efficient and/or have the defensive game of the season. Clemson rarely misses compared to other teams, especially if Godfrey or Davidson get the ball down low.
Hokies chose AND not or.
Hokies are only the third ACC team to break 70 points on Clemson, joining NC State and SMU, and only second in regulation as NC State was tied at 69 at end of regulation.
Hokies got less shots than Clemson has allowed by average yet scored 14 more points than Clemson allows.
Defensively, Hokies held Clemson 2.7% below total shooting % and 5% below 3p% and predominantly it was all second half effort as Clemson went to halftime shooting 54%.

The most frustrating part is that you know he has the tools and just needs to put it all together. You know he can do it, just needs to get over whatever is holding him back. Really rooting for him to do so.

Kept eyeballing the score and refused to put it on until I saw there was under 2 minutes left. I'll stop watching games from now on if it means we play a complete game and get the win.

And quick note: I know Neo gets a lot of hate. I've shared in it myself and understand it and the majority of it is well deserved.
I also feel like there's a huge microscope on him now and every little thing he does wrong, we want to pounce on him. I thought he's played a pretty decent floor game overall the past few games outside of shooting % and one or two boneheaded turnovers. He's playing hard and hasn't given up. There's clearly a mental thing going on with him shooting wise. If he can turn that corner, who knows. I really want him to succeed and hope the rest of the year pans out well for him. No, he's not a lottery pick right now. Will he be? I don't know. He's got the potential, whether it happens here or elsewhere. I guess what I'm trying to say is I hope we can rally around and support the young guy rather than eviscerate him (worthwhile evisceration notwithstanding).
