I want to give this 1000 legs!!!
I will be there.
Looking at a map, Syracuse, BC, and Notre Dame are farther north than Brooklyn, and Pittsburgh is close.
I hope a TKPer came up with this great question:
"Can we just call them Whit Williams and Buzz Babcock? Its so much easier."
Andy seconded the motion.....lol
As of right now it doesn't really seem possible though does it? As you mentioned earlier the article says that the A-10 is going back in 2019. Are they going to try and make the A-10 schedule a week early or earlier in the week? The ACC is now a 5 day tourney and it doesn't seem very likely from a logistics standpoint at this point. Unless you are thinking the A-10 gets the boot, but with a 3 year contract in place the ACC tourney couldn't be held there until 2022.
This.
No college sophomore turns down free food.
It will get through. Also, I would encourage you to check hokiesports.com (once a week or so) until they assign Buzz his own e-mail address, if they haven't already. It will reach his desk, and it will generate a response. He is very big on doing that. Also, I don't know if you are aware or not - Buzz's Bunch has their main event in early December usually. Thus there is a lot of time to contact him. He will focus on that after he gets his staff in place, etc. so don't think he's forgotten.
There will be other contact times than the 'main event', and there will be involvement with the players as well as Buzz and his family. There will be meet & greet opportunities like Beamer & staff do with football, so look for those, too. I'd encourage you to be patient, but optimistic. Buzz has a ton of stuff on his plate right now. He works like a maniac, though, and he will address it.
First comment is about #teampie.
Damn, I'd like to take her to a nice seafood dinner and call her afterwards.
"Layups, gentlemen, layups."
That is one of my biggest issues with his reporting. I understand the appeal of brevity - I fight it constantly in my posts. He goes beyond that and omits all layers of context. His blogs are as dry as his articles. He really does not seem to grasp social media at all, either. Anyway, don't expect anything breaking from him. I could tell in the press conference that Buzz has already identified him as such, too. He laughed at Berman getting bristly on him.
I have to credit Teel & Barber, as I think they do good jobs covering VT hoops. I don't want homerism, but I don't want antagonism, either. I do want context. ESPN gives us the scores & stats. I look to Commonwealth scribes for context.
What's the exchange rate?
i love this idea if it's feasible. i would also be ok playing no on campus games or only on campus vs weak opponents with a small crowd if we could manage to miss only one season.
It was meant more for us to count our blessings. I'm not here to frighten anyone.
Last I checked this was Hokie Nation, we look people in the eye when we shake hands, we drink bourbon, not Zimas, and where we give a man his due for seventeen years of hard work done to better Virginia Tech.
I shed a tear as I read this. Slow clap.
No sarcasm about the 'VaTech', and I had no knowledge of any ban on that. If I were doing it sarcastically, I would have probably done VahTech. I have no issues with 'it', as I think virtually any attention is superior to the lack of attention we endured for decades. No big deal either way...
The fourth one is my favorite because it shows how much Buzz sweated during the game, getting back to the comment from his assistant coach about how his clothes always have to go to the dry cleaners after the game. He puts in work.

I'll give the reasons why I dislike Berman, it's everyone for themselves. First, let's remember - his primary focus at the RT is to cover Hokie basketball. So, the reasons? He really makes it obvious through both his words and actions that he dislikes virtually everything about VT basketball. His questions always tend to be antagonistic and/or negatively biased. His articles do not contain many of the fundamental components of a sports article. He offers zero commentary on the program for 'readers'. He is actually combative with followers on his blog. His questions of sports figures focus on the negative. He offers zero insight in his columns or articles. There is nothing gained by his contributions that you couldn't get from ESPN or AP reports. (I know, he is the source of many AP reports on VTBB)
Everyone that I know who has met him comes away with a similar comment to this - 'What is his problem?' Personally, I chalk it up to a Napolean complex in an environment of tall people. I find it much easier to read David Teel or Mike Barber for insight on the program, and more effective to read ESPN for statistical reports. Mark Berman adds zero that I can see. Even on all the coaching rumors for this job? he didn't break ANYTHING. He didn't even really comment(that I could discover) on any of them. That amazes me...
To be fair they don't really play in the winter, their last game most seasons are against us.
Haha that was great. I didn't actually expect it to work but I wanted to see what the responses would be. Legs for everyone!
If it was Timecop, it might have been exactly what he meant.
or paid for in cash at Lane Stadium

Malek Harris' twitter bio used to say Marquette commit yesterday and since he committed. It does not anymore. Wonder if he officially decommitted.
