I agree... I think from these you can't easily imagine him flipping out over a phone going off in a meeting. He is an extremely passionate guy who tends to give everything he has to his program and expects the same commitment from his guys.

Taking that into account, and the likely need to provide much more stability for a larger facility, I would expect that pilings would definitely reach 400 but if all of the subterranean features that most arenas have are incorporated, those levels would likely reach as deep as 300 feet if what I remember is correct on the current depth of Cassell.
I will wear whit pajamas if that happens.

I watched those last week, shortly after Johnson was released and the whispers began about Buzz being open to conversation. I think there are 16 segments, so prepare for about two hours of video. I would also recommend the YouTube clips featuring an interview with Buzz by George Raveling. There are five of those, worth about 30 minutes of time.
I've watched about 6-8 hours of video on Buzz and read countless articles concerning him. I find all of it encouraging. The man works... HARD, and he expects everyone involved to be fully engaged. His results have proven his methods create successful W/L records and successful young men. He is NOT for the faint of heart. We are fortunate to have him.

Well, there's a huge difference between needing to take a minute or two to fix a goal post and someone getting a traumatic brain injury. The intention is to stop the goals from getting messed up, not to stop the dunking. So if a guy wants to dunk and risk the penalty if he screws it up, fine. But I have no problem with a player expressing himself if it does no harm and isn't obscene.

He is trying to protect the equipment on the field. Next thing is a penalty for touching the pylon too hard.
Maybe the penalty should only be applied if you DON'T make it. You know, because that's embarrassing. Your pride and your team must now suffer.
$$$$ would trump sense with the ACC staff though. My understanding is that Barclays is paying the ACC to have it there. If those dollars are large enough I could see it overriding the North Carolina vote.
