Of all the players reacting to a coaching change I think that JVZ is the happiest. He is favoriting nearly every tweet about fans telling him that they are pumped about next season. I'm excited to see how Buzz develops him because if he can significantly improve his shooting I think he could be one of the best big men in the ACC.

What's really sad is I know a lot of "animal-lovers" with the same outlook as PETA. When it comes to anything else, they're genuinely good people and believe in second chances and redemption, but when it comes to a case like Vick and animals for some reason they freak out and CANNOT let it go.

MV7 has done more for animal rights and protection than both those organizations have done in their entire existence combined.

Growing up in New England, I was and am somewhat a Patriots fan. You can be a fan of Vick and still hate the Jets, I will be doing that as well.
He definitely impressed this year. It will be interesting to see who Dresser replaces with two seniors at 184 and 197. My guess would be Epperly or Gabel moving up to 184 and one of the current freshmen that are redshirting to take over at 197.

Decided we needed to encourage the likelihood of this happening.
Tough loss, but the kid has the fire to get back to the big stage next year. Highest finisher in program history and is going to be the leader on a very deep team next year. I would say a three peat in the ACC and another top ten NCAA finish is a very real possibility next year.
I have very mixed feelings about this one, I'm a Virginian who grew up loving the Hokies and... the Patriots! I hate and I mean HATE the Jets with a passion. This really is a Catch-22 situation for me.

Your second point was my initial reaction. If someone called me soft I'd be pissed. I wouldn't want to leave, I'd want to prove that I'm not soft.

I've signed up within the last month, and a huge part of it was Whit's energy and obvious commitment to building a winning and successful athletics department.
I think Buzz's offer to let him release was 2 things.
It was an indicator to this kid that calling him soft wasn't a motivational tool, it was serious and the offer was telling him he wasn't right for the program.
In other words, I think he's putting the word out that the lunch pail isn't just for VT football, it's VT Bball too.
