Apparently Buzz is going after a transfer student named Charles Barkley who has one year of eligibility left...
Maybe NO [current] ACC teams will be left after tomorrow
A little OT, but that Delgado-Garrett match was fun to watch. I went to high school pretty close to Delgado's and saw him wrestle in a bunch of tournaments. The commentators made a point of telling us about his outstanding scrambling ability, but that actually has gotten him into trouble a few times. Once, at 5 Counties (Huge CA wrestling tournament), he managed to pin himself during a scramble in the first round. Of course, he was so good, he wrestled back through the entire thing to win 3rd. Kid's a freak. Dance did well to hold his own against him.
Just one more match until Devin is up...
Maroon jacket, Maroon tie, Maroon Pants ... Hell #ALLMAROONEVERYTHING
Oh I just loved that stunned disgusted look from Boeheim....
Goodbye, Cuse!
I...I think...I think I love him. But I'm afraid to get hurt again.
The balls of PETA to say that when they euthanize more pets than any other animal organization. The entire lot of em can stuff it
Watching? Sorry, if it isn't Tech, or URI I generally don't watch.
gotta feelin' cuse gonna lose
This was exactly where I was going with my statement. Self fulfilling prophecy.
There may be truth to the fact that teams kind of give up after missing the NCAA's...but you can't afford to give up. If you think you should be in the NCAA's and you get 'snubbed' and thus relegated to the NIT you need to win the NIT. Otherwise, the following year the 'experts' will look at bubble teams and remember that the team that was 'snubbed' last year went on to lose in the second round of the NIT so they should probably be overlooked for another bubble team again. Losing the NIT is just confirmation to the selection committee that they made the correct choice last year and they'll make the same choice again.
Can someone gif Buzz playing the piano so we can watch it forever on a loop
Dayton is going step for step with Syracuse. Dayton leading with five to play.
To be fair to Greenberg, winning the NIT or not doesn't mean anything on whether you deserved to make the tournament of not. Most of the teams have given up once they get snubbed from the tournament.
The same bashing flared up when he signed here In Philly. Give it a couple weeks to settle down. PETA's looking for any and every way to get attention. Like NYC, Philly's a love/hate town and theres alotta love for MV7 in the City of brotherly love!
GO HOKIES!
No I'm totally agreeing with you, just expanding on your points and giving counter-arguments
That would probably be to replace Rankin's scholarship or Thompson's if he already had mentally sailed that ship
Good pull. If that's the case, I got some advice for Thompson "GROW UP" If I had my cell phone on in a meeting and it went off, my boss would lop my head off in front of everyone as well. I had a professor in my MBA program at Mason take several students phones and told them they could pick them up from the MBA office the next day after they went off in class. Kid probably needs a coach like Buzz to make him NBA ready if he is that undeveloped mentally.
Not concerned at all on the recruiting violation. It was an assistant's indiscretion and Buzz took the fall for it as the head coach. In no way from what I've read was Buzz the person committing the violation.
Marshall Wood will also likely need to pack on a few pounds to play the three and four positions. Expect JVZ to be your "starting center" and C.J. Barksdale to be the "power forward"
That was classic. Buzz is hilarious
Here's the back story. Cell phone on in team meeting... still sour about comment made a couple years ago and not willing to talk it through... well ok maybe he is soft. Sheesh.

Greenberg had us 3rd or 4th in the ACC five out of nine years, that said, he scheduled SOOOOO badly Out of Conference that those kind of finishes got us into the NCAA once and the NIT five times. He couldn't even win the NIT tournament so all his crying about should have been in the tournament never held water for me.
All of these results were before Pitt, Syracuse, Notre Dame and Louisville joined the conference
I was just showing the argument that Virginia Tech is a "bad job". I never said it was a good argument.

Its a possibility. Iowa State is legit, so UNC is going to have their hands full. We all will be cheering for Memphis.
