Awesome write up man. I really don't understand how anyone could be unhappy about this. Not saying anyone is, but this guy is a proven winner and considering that VT doesn't really have much pull as a basketball school, I can't really imagine a better hire.

I became a Hokie basketball fan the first game as a freshmen when I got to see the Zabian/Jamon duo tear up the ACC. I was a fan ever since and went to almost every game. For those on this site that weren't there, our fan base was one of the loudest and craziest in the ACC from '05-'09. I can't wait to see that excitement back. We are not just a football school. We are competitive sports fans.

I joked about this in a different thread, but I will repeat it here. I want to see our bball team hit the court wearing a Hokie Stone/Maroon/Orange version of their unis.
It should be safe to say that non of the current recruits to Tech should be wanting to ask for a release now.

Frank already knows he's getting a raise...that bonus after our 2015 National Championship. Plus it would have been a lot easier getting Isaiah Ford here if he knew Buzz was the bball coach.

He was actually at the top of the list because he was done after Anthony Grant and I found it easiest to edit the post by putting him at the top....it just looked like we knew what we were doing. He is getting on average $2.5 mil a season from Tech. I expect there is some kind of increases annually that create that average.
