I'm of two separate opinions on this:

As a person who's had struggles with a pornography addiction that started before he became a Christian and relapses off and on since then, I tend to take a negative view of her choice and wouldn't be happy if someone I loved made the same choice.

The Libertarian side of me says she's free to make whatever decision she wants to regarding how she pays for college.

Logan was in San Diego for only a week or two with Whitfield. FWIW, Whitfield ran Andrew Luck's pro-day, and that's really where he made his claim to fame. Manziel didn't workout at Texas A&M's pro-day, he'll have his own private pro-day on March 27. I imagine Whitfield will run Manziel's pro-day as well. Maybe this will be the new trend for the hottest quarterbacks, and I guess that's ok. But, I still argue that Whitfield is a salesman and marketer and not a coach, which is actually pretty smart for Logan as he heads into the draft.

Dammit Now I want Gumby's pizza. Havent had it in years and it still haunts me in a good way. Same thing with a shrimp po boy sandwich from New Orleans during the National Championship game trip. Gumby's is why I use Ranch dressing on my pizza crust and get weird looks from most of the people I know for it.

I happen to agree that this transition is much more likely though especially if the money is about equal. Allows his wife to work towards tenure at Harvard, which is no light work.

I think I'm gonna like it. He has displayed some decisiveness so far and that, to me, is a positive. He definitely says all of the right things...only time will tell.

Owner(s) plural: The family that owns most of the real estate downtown are the founders of PK's (Pete and Kevin) Kevin is the one you are referring to above

Woody's was Preston's and before that Arnold's It changed from Arnold's to Preston's after a shooting occurred involving three brothers and a wedding party on the street directly outside the bar. Shots were fired, windows in the bar knocked out and a member of the wedding party was killed.

I was a bouncer/bartender for both of these places while at Tech, and we were always slammed but the owner was paying such high rent to that family that he wasn't making much money.

Kevin was notorious for coming into the bar and getting completely blitzed, not pay his tab (which the owner just wrote off) and then the owner would expect someone from the staff to help Kevin stumble his way home. He was living in a house about three or four blocks behind the bars at that time and it rotated who got the fun task of steering him home after work was done.

Not sad to hear that they have sold some of the property down there and are having problems using other properties. Dude was a PITA and a lousy tipper.

This is true. Really he only needs to compete with Princeton and sometimes Penn every year for a tournament bid. He has some pluses and minuses. Would be happy with him but I am more excited about what else is out there, as well.
