The new President of Virginia Tech's wife was a senior faculty member at Purdue and my understanding is that they were able to come to some agreement on her moving to Tech as well. I would imagine they would do the same for the head basketball coach if that was a sticking point.
Technically it is a Disney movie since they own Marvel
PITT is PISST
I also have a decent amount of involvement in some programs like the one you spoke of. But I don't thing EVERY porn star is in porn because they are forced to do so. 99% of people that are in the sex trade are terribly abused, and many of those are treated as slaves. However, I believe there is are exceptions and some strippers enjoy being strippers and some porn stars enjoy being porn stars (at least when they first start out). I would agree that it is very difficult to impossible to get out of the sex trade unless you become "undesirable" or something.
In my time, the Cellar was where you went when you had a date and wanted to go elegant. haha..
but they did make great long island's, with just the right touch of coke to alcohol so that the whole concoction only turned a light shade of pink.
She was one of my freshmen when I was a senior. Word spreads pretty quickly through the Corps grapevine.
I've not met Whitfield so this is just a guess. He is highly regarded for something. A position coach or trainer is a specialist, and yes he is not a coach. A coach deals with so much more. Whitfield has a reputation and success with getting big name clients prepared for and into the NFL. If it works for LT then great. Lefty can't commit the time to prepping just one guy who is already out of the program. I'm sure SL didn't prepare a workout and was not working out with LT prepping for the Pro Day. Salesmanship or not he believes in his clients and wants them to succeed because it means he succeeds. One more thing is that coaches do their job for the love of the game and a desire to help others succeed. They have a passion for it. Getting paid well for doing it is just a bonus. Whitfield has to have a passion for what he does.
I miss Blacksburg...
And of course I stupidly changed from Dayton to Ohio State....starting to think that was a bad last min decision....

I get where you're coming from but using the word "forced" is a humanistic generalization. An individual's reasoning for making a decision to go into any perceived sociologically negative atmosphere does not equate to being "forced" and cannot be generalized to any amount of people. What studies on sex trade don't state, and where they always are false positives, is that the individuals that participate in the studies are nearly 100% likely to fall into the categories of neglect and abuse, and do not take into account woman that are in sex trade that are there for alternate reasons that do not fall into these categories. Why? because those women don't talk to anyone outside their circle of trust. I do concede that the majority of women do fall into this category though.
But I'm going to use some anecdotal evidence against you. I am from Nevada, the only state in the 50 that has legal prostitution. A high school friend of mine worked at the famous Bunny Ranch to pay through university. She made good grades in high school, had some scholarships, middle income family which is extremely loving, 1 brother and 1 sister. Had good healthy relationships with boys up to that point as well. So why? Was she forced? No, she's an economist and worked the numbers, and is open minded sexually. When she finished school she had enough money to move to Washington DC on her own and chase her dream job without having to live poorly. She lives there still, now married with a child. We talk nearly every week, as we have since high school.
I advised her not to but supported her. She is extremely well adjusted individual and to be honest has a very powerful position now. She knows more women like herself that have decided to use sex to their advantage. These are also the type of people that partake in sex studies by universities that are looking for the "average" person.
While, I don't want my daughter to be a porn star or be involved in the sex trade, views on sex in the United States are extremely conservative. A woman has the right to choose to have sex in any way they wish IMO. And just as your studies show data to support your argument, there are other studies that show that most woman that come from abusive or neglectful homes also come from highly conservative ones. Shame about sex is just another form of abuse.
This girl at Duke is certainly using the media at this point, but I don't see that she sought that out from the get go. She seems to have been at it for a while before the whole thing went viral. So if she's able to squeeze every last cent out of the extra publicity then more power to her. It's her life.
I'm sorry...I...I just could not resist

Or this

See, now you have generalized me as someone who consumes porn simple because I am an engineering major and have had skepticism drilled into my head. Like is stated in another response, you cannot use the terms all and never without having talked to everyone, or you are wrong. Even one person who contradicts your claim makes you incorrect. Gross generalizations are wrong, even if your intentions are good.
Yup, she was friends with one of my buddies in the corp. She came back as someone's date for Mil Ball.
Scanga's Place was the best when I was at VT. You need to look it up in the yearbook aournd 1981 or 82.
Yeah, too bad we won't get to see Manziel in college without Mike Williams to bail him out. Winston is another one. Kelvin Benjamin is a pretty good safety valve, and he's just one of how many guys from that receiving corps who will be getting drafted this year?
my take on this issue...

Haha well i was a Building Construction major so it was an elective. But it was probably one of my favorite classes. Very interesting, and very fun class.
Good point. I interpreted it to mean that Whitfield ran Logan's workout. There was a video on hokiesports.com that showed Gray running drills for Exum and Fuller.
Syracuse, Mich St, Arizona, Louisville
Mich St over Louisville for the championship.
I was just thinking exactly this. This site is probably the only place on the internet where this discussion could possibly be held in a reasonable manner without devolving into the internet version of monkees screeching and flinging poo at one another.
From reading this whole thread I kind of found a bit of amusement how some of the commenters on this thread literally believe something and cannot be convinced that some people may be willing to have an alternative lifestyle. Sorry, porn isn't something you agree with, but don't sit on a message board and try and tell people that every single performer in the porn industry is a "victim". Instead of sitting in a cubicle all day to get paid, like most of us, some people may just prefer to get boned instead.
Now, I agree that there obviously have to be plenty of examples of exploited individuals in the porn industry, and that is a terrible terrible thing. However, try to keep an open mind about the lifestyle some people like to read. By your argument saying that they are victims for having to do something like porn to make money, an argument could be made that we are all victims for having to work to support ourselves.
This.
You and I would have been friends while in Blacksburg.
Ive got Florida, Wisconsin, Louisville, Mich St

Well they turned it on and are winning by 34 now.
