There's also the fact that Logan has been working with Whitfield a lot more than Lefty since the season ended. That comes down to the fact that Loeffler has enough going on with guys already in, or that he's trying to get into, the program. He's got to recruit, watch film, plan out spring practices, etc. On the other hand, Whitfield has nothing but time to help Thomas work out any issues with his mechanics, footwork, etc. It was pretty much the same issue Lefty had in the spring/fall. He was too buys trying to install a new offense and make sure Logan had the mental stuff down that they didn't really have too much time to overhaul his throwing motion.

Yes, it's extremely common, for the simple reason that very rarely do schools graduate their starting QB AND 3-4 WRs/TEs (and if they do, they're probably gonna be in a world of hurt on offense next season). And I'm not sure what to think about the Journell situation. But hey, I don't run the program and I'm not an NFL GM, so it's not really any of my concern.

I guess the other schools will have another image to "use as a negative recruiting tool", Oh well I will take my chances

Compendium - a collection of things (such as photographs, stories, facts, etc.) that have been gathered together and presented as a group especially in the form of a book

PK's back deck is actually pretty decent - and in the summertime, you can usually grab a table. Their food isn't that bad either and they were getting in a decent number of bands over the summer, which is was always cool

I just spent my spring break in New York City at a program called NYCUP (NYC urban project), which works with the poor and victims of sex trafficking. One night, we watched a documentary called "Tricked," which I think everyone should watch at some point just to get an idea of what's out there. It's about girls who are tricked, kidnapped or forced into prostitution. One of the main girls had gone to a party in college, but there was only one guy there, who told her the party had been rescheduled, but they could still grab dinner or something. Two weeks of wining & dining later, he beats her, pushes her out of the car and tells her to go make his money. Anyways, at the end of the film, that girl (now a 30 year old, married, mother of 3) was there to answer questions. I couldn't imagine going through that and then talking about it so openly. Someone asked her about the Duke girl, and whether it was actually "empowering" or "liberating." Her answer was very clear: no. Every single girl in the sex trade (porn, prostitution, stripping, etc) is there because something or someone forced them, either consciously or subconsciously. No girl wakes up and thinks to herself, "y'know what would be a good idea? Selling myself."

So no, I would never consider my daughter's (if I had one) actions liberating or respectful. I would consider them a sign that I failed as a father, that she had been abused at some point (vast majority of porn stars, prostitutes and strippers have been sexually abused as children), and/or that she was being forced into it. The relationships prostitutes have with their pimps is shockingly, disturbingly similar to the North Korean peoples' view of their "dear leader." They're brainwashed. They believe they can't survive without their pimp or that if they seek help, they or their families will be killed. It's an extremely hopeless situation, one that I would never wish on anyone.

*steps down from soapbox*

i love the cellar. i think the cellar has the best selection of good beer. its a little more low key which can be nice, so its a good place to start your night of drinking

I was a frequent Cellar Dweller for dinner (Pita Pizza) and a few rounds of Luck of the draw. Then I would go to the other bars for the night.

Good call, Tijiuana Toss is awesome (even though my win-rate is probably worse than Mike London's).

Even at full price, a pizza and a BAM at PKs, enjoyed outside on the deck, is one of my favorite things in life.

But do the students go there?

TOT's is a shithole too (downstairs bathroom stalls made of particle board), but they have rails and lines out the door every night. Hence why many agree it's Blacksburg's best college bar.

I go to Steppin Out every year. Love having a quick rail. Only been to PK's once but I did
like it. Clearly I need to check out more bars in the burg...

It's also a night when no Sorority girls have greek life conflicts, so all the girls are out, at one bar.
