I'm hesitant on Capel. He did good at VCU, but really accomplished nothing at OU when Blake Griffin wasn't on the team.
Also keep in mind he has a PLANE they use for recruiting. That's a huge asset.
Kendall Fuller, Brandon Facyson, Holland Fisher, Kevin Toliver would make excellent weapons for the Battle of Bristol .
Which is why I specifically excluded the first rounders.... Turning that down is stupid. Once you start getting into underclassmen that are outside of that is where the waters get murky and an extra year could help more. Throw in this type of game and you might have a late second rounder stick around to improve stock when he normally wouldn't.

Just so we have some gifs we can use later when this inevitably comes up again.

First they need sports to journalism about.
As should everything on the internet. That way it can rot then die in the dark hole as it was meant to.
Sweet! Thanks Rob! Consolidating all of those from all of these threads will help me be more efficient at my favorite hobby! VT Sports on TKP!
It's because recruiting rankings are overblown and don't really mean anything.
...right?

I was reading through the comments and one of them referenced BR and I died a little in the inside. These people have no idea what great sports journalism looks like...
Oh dear god, he dropped a choppin wood?

Comments on the bottom are hilarious.
It may have been, but I can't recall a Texas OL being highly drafted in the last few years. Given the statement of fact, above, that they always get the best of the best (and Texas is full of country strong big dudes), it makes me a little nervous, too.
Bigger than going in the 1st round in the NFL and making a couple million a year?

Good stuff from Babcock. Were with you Whit!
Working on the next list of candidates from the recent posts now so stay tuned to an update later tonight.
One word for Whit Babcock's press conference? Realistic. Knows he has a bit of selling to do, hire will have to chop wood. #Hokies— Aaron McFarling (@aaronmcfarling) March 18, 2014
In a stunning move, Babcock hires Aaron Moorehead to coach the basketball team.
Edit:
Just went through my twitter feed and these jumped out at me. Can we just give Whit all the Turkey Legs?
And by minutes, I mean seconds. Babcock: "I feel like when you make a decision at this level, you need to stand up and be accountable."— Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) March 18, 2014
Babcock asked how much he's willing to spend: "That's like going to a salesman and telling him how much money you have in your pocket."— Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) March 18, 2014
Babcock: "I was enjoying the honeymoon, so the last thing I wanted to do was jump into the frying pan." Thought it was necessary, though.— Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) March 18, 2014
#Hokies AD Whit Babcock said he'll look at increasing budget for assistants.— Mike Barber (@RTD_MikeBarber) March 18, 2014
Comparing this press conference to the one Jim Weaver held when he fired Seth Greenberg is startling. Seems much more prepared for search.— Hokies Journal (@HokiesJournal) March 18, 2014
Yes we can. Dirty business, sports is.
B.O.O.B,
B.O.O.B,
B.O.O.B!
It actually says "VT Football Recruiting: Kevin Toliver II...Are The Hokies Out Of His League?"
Not "Is Tolliver Out of the Hokies League?"
The way I read it, the question is: Are the Hokies too good for Tolliver??
Don't be fooled by the money, a lot of people are saying that Buzz is interested. It seems he wants out of Marquette and will be willing to take a pay cut if needed.
LOLUVA at its finest... and most public. LMFAO!!
And now we wait

Well said, UVA alum! You should have told that to the 2 five star athletes that picked UVA on sgning day.
